Det. Baez was counting down the seconds until the explosion.
25, 24, 23, 22, 21, 20
She felt guilty for not knowing that this had been a trap, for not getting everybody out of the building in time, for not hugging Danny one last time. For not doing everything that she'd wanted to, for not having a good relationship with her family, for not telling Danny that she loved him more often.

For not appreciating the little things in life, for not accepting who she was, for always wanting more.
13, 12, 11, 10, 9, 8
For being jealous, for all the lies she'd told, for hurting others.

For not.... Baez realizes that there's one more second left and braces herself. She closes her eyes, she blinks, she looks around. She's in the same room. The bomb is blinking 00:00 in red over and over. But she's still there, tied to the same chair. She can't believe it. This is surely by the grace of God, she thinks. She starts screaming for help. No one comes. Just when she's thinking she's on her own Danny comes running in.
Maria: Danny!
Danny: It's ok. It's ok. I'm here. We're going to get you out.
Maria: Danny, bomb squad didn't come. They didn't meet me, but it was all a lie.
Danny: It's ok. You have trauma from...
Maria: No Danny, it didn't go off. It was all a lie.
Danny glances at the bomb
Danny: Oh thank God!
Maria: I'm ok Danny, really. How about you?
Danny: Me? You were the one who was practically strapped to a bomb!
Danny untied the rope and pulls Baez into a tight hug.
Maria: I'm glad you're ok.
Danny: Alright, come on. Let's get you out of here.
