Danny arrives at his father's house for Sunday dinner:
Danny: I'm here!
Danny walks into the dining room and everybody is staring at him, his sons especially:
Frank: Well, you're late.
Danny: Yeah, I was....never mind.
Erin: I told you.
Danny: Told me what?
Erin: That if you didn't tell your sons they'd find out this way.
Danny: I didn't want them to find out that way. She didn't even..... oh never mind.
Eddie: If you didn't want them to find out that way then why didn't you tell them?
Sean: You've got to be kidding me.
Danny: What?
Sean: You're dating!?
Danny: Well..
Erin: Yes, they saw it themselves.
Frank: What I want to know is why would you put yourself out like that in front of live TV!
Danny: It wasn't....I didn't
Erin: We saw enough to know what happened.
Eddie: Yeah, I mean once we knew there was a bomb the tv in our precinct turned on.
Jamie: What's funny is that you didn't even tell your younger brother.
Jack: Much less his own sons.
Danny: Oh, come on, will you just...
Jamie: You know, once you kissed everyone in our precinct cheered. Everyone was asking me why they didn't know and I was asking myself why I didn't know.
Erin: Can we tell him now?
Danny: Tell me what?
Erin: Once you told me, or more like once I found out you were dating..I told everyone.
Danny: Are you kidding right now?
Erin: Nope.
Danny: Then why would you pull this stunt?!
Sean: Just for fun. We're really all very happy that you're finally dating. And you picked a good choice. But honestly, when did you plan on telling us?
