Luke and I had a great day hanging out in the park. We mucked about playing tag and sat on the swings talking, just having a catch up. Luke told me that his brother jack and his girlfriend were getting married soon, which I was so happy about as Jack is pretty much my brother as well as ive known him most of my life and of course I got close to all the hemmings clan over that period of time. He said it was meant to be a surprise thought and Jack was waiting to tell me himself, but I didn't mind really .
At about half three the both of us decided we would go get some ice creams, as it was ridiculously hot, and we carried on talking, walking in the direction of my house, where Luke hugged me goodbye and said we needed to hang out like this more often now to which I agreed.
Half an hour later ...
It is now half 4, char and I are sitting on my ensuite floor with 3 plan parenthood pregnancy tests placed in front of us. There was 10 seconds left of the timer and I would be lieing if I said I wasn't petrified for both char and logan.
Buzzzz buzz buzzzzz
The sound of the timer made me jump and Charlie's eyes began to water. All three tests said positive. My once strong independent best friend crumbled before me, and all I could do was hold her in my arms and assure her that everything will be okay.
"Char everything will be okay, no matter what you do I'll be here for you every step of the way."
"Nix im so scared, I could never give it up and to be honest I'm not thAt scared to have a child it's just I don't want to lose logan."
Charlie continued to sob her eyes out while hugging me and I grabbed her phone as it was the closest to me and tapped on Logan's contact.
- hey logan it's nix, I honestly think it would be a good idea for you to come round to mine. let yourself in as the front door is open and make your way to my ensuite : love Phoenix x -
After about 20 minutes of waiting Logan burst through the bathroom door and made is way over the the trembling charlie. Whilst he was holding on the her he noticed the pregnancy tests infront of her and he glanced at me with a panicked look on his face. He knew they were chars and that that kid growing inside of her is also his. after a minute of looking scared he finally calmed down.
" Charlie I will always be there for you, I have been since we were 9, and i promise you that even though this baby wasn't planned I will stick by you no matter what and I will love that child as much as I love you. I know we are only 17 and that's quite young to be having children but we will be the hippest parents out there just you wait and see."
Logan's speech caused a smile to break on both Charlie's face and mine. I thought it best to give the pair a little space and went down stairs to make the three of us teas.thinking about it im gonna be a sort of aunty and im gonna spoil that child so much.
