Michael had text me the night before to confirm when he would come round and pick me up, 12:30, and what style of clothing to wear , casual and comfortable.
I'd woken at 8:00 so I had plenty of time to get a bath and to get ready before it. After filling the tub up with warm water and bubbles I hoped in and relaxed. I would be lieing if I said I wasn't nervous about this date, I haven't really gone on many dates as bens such a protective brother. He allowed Michael after many days of me and him pleading, but before agreeing he had the cliche talk with Mikey. The "if you break my little sisters heart I will break you " bollocks.
After my relaxing bubble bath I hopped out, dried myself off and put my hair in a bun so that I could easily apply my makeup. I opted to wear a casual floral skirt and grey vest top with a statement necklace to jazz it up a little bit.
My makeup today was quite simple consisting of only foundation, powder,blusher, eyeshadow and mascara, as I didn't want to look caked as it really isn't a good look. I took my hair out of the bun and let it run down my back, I gave it a brush and then blow dryed it. Once it was dry I curled the ends and then I was ready to go.
It was about 11:45 once I finished getting ready which allowed me 45 minutes to relax and prepare myself.
Making sure my phone was charged I chucked it in my Chanel bag and went to play with Lily for a while. Ben was out at work until 7 ish and we all planed to go to the same New Years party.
I heard the door bell ring for downstairs and I rushed out of lils room after giving her a kiss on the cheek as a goodbye, I grabbed my bag and huged my mum telling her I won't be back to quite late. Once the door was open I was able to view Michael fully. He had dyed his hair back to green, which I absolutely love, and was wearing a black and white baseball t-shirt with red x's on them and of course his signature black ripped skinny jeans. He looked breathe taking.
"Phoenix you look incredible." He said looking even more nervous than me.
"Why thank you mikey so do you! So what are the plans for today then? "
"Well I was hoping it to be a surprise, but I'll tell you this it consists of 3 different places before we go to the party tonight."
"But Michael you know how much I detest surprises!" I whined, this just caused him to smirk and wrap his arm around me guiding me to his car.
After a short drive, around 15 minutes we got out of the car and Michael guided me into the woods next to the car, not gonna lie it was quite creepy. We talked about little things, getting to know more about each other when we came across this tree house restaurant. It looked amazing, something straight out of a fairy tale. ( picture at top )
"Michael how did you find this place!" I questioned.
"It's owned by a close family friend and I just thought it would be a perfect place to take you Nix."
Holy crap this boy was incredible, he knew me so well and i really appreciated that.
We went inside and had our meals, talking about life and getting to know each other a lot better and me pestering Michael about the band playing more shows as if love to see them performing more, as im sure many people would.
