You and Kageyama have been friends since birth. So what are you supposed to do when you start to catch feelings?

*timeskip* I'm walking down the hall to waste time when Kiyoko comes running up to me. I remember that she was the manager for Kageyama's team.
"You're y/n right?"
"Ya...why?"
"Well, since I'm a third year, I've been looking for somebody that can take my spot as the manager for Karasuno's boys team next year. Are you interested?"
I did know how to play volleyball and it would look good on a resume. Plus it would mean I can see Kageyama play...
"Of course I'll do it!"
"Here your parents just need to fill out this form. You can stop by the gym after school today to watch practice" Kiyoko said while handing me a form.
"I normally wait by the gym after school anyways so I'll be there"
"Thank you y/n-san" Kiyoko said while bowing slightly. She then ran off while almost every single guy stared at her. Once she was out of sight their gaze turned to me. I just smirked and turned around walking back to my class.
*timeskip to after school*
I walked out of my class to see Kiyoko standing outside the door waiting for me.
"Hello Kiyoko-san" I said while bowing slightly.
"Hello y/n, I didn't realize you were smart" Kiyoko said as we started walking. I noticed many people turning towards us and a few of the guys (and girls) staring fondly at Kiyoko.
"Hm?" I didn't understand what she meant. How could she have known I was smart?
"You're in class 1-5 right? It's for college prep"
"Oh ya...I didn't realize you knew that I came from class 1-5. I guess people would consider me smart..." Even though I'm not.
*timeskip to practice*
(Yes I put a timeskip for them walking to the gym I'm lazy and didn't want to write more conversation)
I was standing outside of the gym doors waiting for Kiyoko to call me in.
"I would like to introduce you to our new manager" I stepped into the gym and looked at all the faces, recognizing all of them but two.
"Y-y/n?" I turned my head to see Kags with a shocked look on his face.
"Hey Kags!" I say while holding up a peace sign. I looked at all the other faces and when I made eye contact with Tanaka I smiled knowing what would happen.
"SHE SMILED AT ME!!! OH MY GOD! NOW WE HAVE TWO BEAUTIFUL MANAGERS!" Tanaka said with heart eyes. I looked at Kiyoko and she looked as if she was expecting something else to happen.
"WHAT! No fair, I want her to smile at me too!" I look and see it's one of the people I didn't recognize. They have spiky darkish brown hair with a dyed blonde streak that looked like a lightning bolt. They were also short. They looked like they were my height.
(Sorry to all my tall people, you're short today)
"Hi. I don't think we met yet, I'm y/n." I giggled while holding my hand out.
"HI! I'm Nishinoya Yū, second year" They replied while shaking my hand enthusiastically.
"Pleasure to meet you Noya-senpai" I released their hand and right when the word 'senpai' left my mouth, they froze. I wondered if I had done something wrong until Suga rolled his eyes and mouthed 'Here we go'
"DID YOU HEAR THAT TANAKA!!! SHE CALLED ME SENPAI!!! I FEEL SO HONOURED!!! THIS IS AMAZING!!!" I jumped to the side as they dove in for a hug. They dove straight out the door and landed on their stomach with a 'thud.'
"Ok back to practice let's go!" I heard an unfamiliar voice say. I looked at the team but none of them had said anything. I looked around and saw a man wearing a red track suit with blond hair pushed back with a headband walking towards Kiyoko and I.
"Hello y/n, I'm Ukai Keishin, Karasuno's coach. I'm glad you're here" The man said. He then walked back to where he was standing. Kiyoko led me to a bench and I watched the team practice.
As I'm watching I'm starting to remember how good Kageyama is at volleyball. He has so much control over the ball it amazes me. I watched him and Hinata do their quick attack and if I had blinked, I would have missed it. I looked away just in case anyone thought I was staring.
I was watching who I learned was Asahi practice spiking when I heard loud panting beside me. When I turned I saw Kags standing there drinking from a water bottle. He had sweat dripping down his hair and his face was slightly red from heat. I took a mental picture for my 'before sleep fantasies.'

"Since when are you a dog? Should I start barking at you to communicate?" I said sarcastically.
"What? No...I still have to clean up and get changed so you might be waiting for a bit" I hadn't realized practice was over.
"Why don't you get changed and I'll clean up for you. I still remember how to take down a volleyball net" I said standing up. Kags nodded and walked out of the gym. I went over to the net and started taking it down. Suga came to help me out with the other side.
"So Kageyama made you do his cleaning up for him huh?" He said as we were folding up the net.
"No, I offered so that we could get home faster." I said picking up the net and walking toward the storage room. I noticed a mop with a piece of metal wrapped around the middle of the handle. I shrugged and left the gym to see Kageyama leaning against the wall.
We started walking towards our houses. We were talking about the team and Kags was explaining their different strengths. At one point we were walking too close and our hands brushed so I moved away slightly. I looked up at his face and his cheeks were red.
I'm not dumb and I realize what this could mean. Or Kags is touch deprived and any touch makes him blush. Either way I moved closer again and wrapped my arm around his leaning my head onto his arm.
"What are you doing n/n?" I looked up to see Kags staring to my eyes while his blush was slowly creeping up to his ears.
"I'm tired and you're comfy" I replied and then I smiled at him. He smiled a soft smile and I felt my cheeks turn pink. We continued walking home talking about volleyball.
A/N Hey hey heyyy...yes I am aware it's been two weeks since I uploaded. For that I apologize but I'm going to upload two more chapters to make up for it. I haven't been doing the best but now that I have a break from school I'll try to write as much as I can to make it easier for when I return to school in a couple weeks. I am also aware that Kiyoko didn't start looking for a manager until after the preliminaries but guess what? I don't care. Jk, I just thought this fit better with my story.
