Chapter 10

"Lies"

Normally I don't do this, but the name intrigued me. Kageyama had never mentioned anyone named Livvy, or Olivia or Liv for that matter. I used my thumbprint to unlock his phone and open his messages.

Livvy💖❤️: I had so much fun last week! I can't wait to see you again

I close the app and turn off his phone while my hands are shaking. I sit back down at the table and place his phone exactly where he left it.

What the hell??? Why would Kageyama lie to me?
He said he was playing volleyball and spending time with his family last week so he couldn't hang out.
Now I find out he was with some girl!

I didn't even care that he was with a girl...well I did but, I cared more about the fact that he lied to me. He could have just told me that he was with this 'Livvy' person.

I walked back to the room where the managers were sleeping and fell asleep without changing into my pyjamas. I didn't care, I just wanted to escape.

*timeskip to the barbecue*

Throughout the day I hadn't necessarily been ignoring Kags, I just wasn't starting any conversations. I was also mainly hanging out with the managers.

We were planning a barbecue for the teams so we went to set it up. Once the teams came outside, they all immediately dove straight in. Well, all except for Kenma. Kuroo had to take his game away and force him to eat.

I saw Kageyama eating next to Hinata and he started choking.

Good...let him choke on his lies

HOLY SHIT Y/N WHY THE HELL ARE YOU THINKING THAT!?!?!?

I went to grab a cup of water but noticed Akaashi had already given one to Kageyama. I turned back to the managers and we began talking about some of the drama within the teams.

We all knew that on a high school boys sports team, at least two had to be gay. (and usually for each other) We were all guessing who they were for each team.

"Hmmm...on Fukurodani it's definitely Akaashi, no questions. To be honest I get a vibe from Bokuto too. On Nekoma it's got to be Kenma and Kuroo. I mean come on, they were practically made for each other. I didn't really talk to anyone from Shinzen or Ubugawa so I couldn't tell you...and now Karasuno" I took a deep breath ready to explain my thoughts.

"First of all Dadchi and Sugawara are most definitely gay for each other, second of all Tsukishima and Yamaguchi. You could say they're just friends but you could also say that I'm a purple hippopotamus, they would both be lies. I definitely sense an extreme bromance between Tanaka and Noya but they don't have actual feelings for each other. No I am not open to others opinions" I took another deep breath and saw that the other girls were all staring at me.

"Y/n...is this the only thing you do in your free time?" Kaori, Fukurodani's manager, said with a smirk.

"Do what?"

"Ship everyone on the teams together. You seem to have a very strong opinion on this" She continued. I shrugged my shoulders and looked around and I noticed almost all of the meat was gone.

"Hey girls, I think it's time to hand out some watermelon," I said with a smile. We all went into the kitchen to grab a plate of the watermelon we had cut earlier.

We started handing them out and as I was making my way around I realized I was walking straight to where Kageyama was. I mentally prepared myself to give him the cold shoulder and I reached his 'group.' He was talking with Akaashi, while Hinata praised Bokuto, and Kuroo was trying to convince Kenma to eat more food.

"Hey boys, do any of you want some watermelon?" I said with a smile. Akaashi turned and grabbed two pieces, he handed one to Bokuto and walked back over to Kageyama. Kuroo then walked over and also took two, handing one to Kenma who took it eagerly. Hinata then came bouncing along and took one.

I looked up at Kageyama and raised an eyebrow. He walked over and took one.

"Why have you been avoiding me y/n?"

"I don't know what you mean" I met his eyes but quickly looked away to keep up my 'you made me mad' vibe.

"We've barely spoken today...I don't know if I said something or-"

"Nope. I've been with the managers planning this, I don't have to spend every second of my life with you Kageyama" I cut him off. He looked at me with confusion and concern in his eyes. I turned around making sure I whipped my hair, showing that I didn't plan on continuing the conversation.

I purposely called him Kageyama knowing he would overthink it. Good, he should assume the worst and feel guilty.

*small timeskip*

On the bus ride home I sat next to Kiyoko because I knew she wouldn't try to make conversation. When we had gotten home I walked slightly ahead of Kageyama so he wouldn't make conversation and told him I was tired when we got home. I went straight to my room and locked the glass door then laid down on my bed.

After five minutes I got up and quietly unlocked the door again. I was angry but I was still here for him if he needed me....

Hey hey heyyy! Guess who hasn't uploaded in over a month! That's right, me. I took a small break because I was becoming mentally and physically exhausted also online school started. I'm going back to school Monday so it will be better.
In the next chapter there won't be much cute Kageyama stuff because I wanted to add some ✨flavour✨ to the story.
