PROLOGUE

I took off my Bvlgari Flora sunglasses that's worth 59,000 dollars. Well, I need everyone's eye on me. I never wore a cheap clothes, jewelries, bags and accessories.

I'm currently walking toward's my dad's office right now. He asked me to go home. I was in France then I went back to New York just for his agenda.

"Ate Bri!!" -Leighla

I saw the my little sisters, the twins outside dad's office. I went down to hug them. I feel like I haven't seen them in three months. I've been away kasi and I barely talk to them.

"Ate Ava are you going home na?"- Letizia

"No I need to go back to Paris today. I'm just dropping by at dad's office. " I said.

"Ms. Brianna, your dad wants to see you now."

Tumayo nako at nagpaalam sa twins. Then I went inside of dad's office. I stopped when I saw my mom and dad standing in front of me with a serious face.

Am I in trouble? What did I do now??

I smiled at the two of them.

"Mom! Dad! I missed you so much." Naka ngiti kong sabi. Lumapit naman ako sakanila at nag beso.

Pero dad is still serious.

"Sit down, Brianna." Utos ni mommy.

Wala akong nagawa kundi maupo sa harapan ng table ni dad. Naupo si mom sa tabi ko at si dad naman, naupo sa chair niya.

"The bank called me yesterday. " Panimula ni daddy.

Napanganga ako ng slight.

"Oh my. Bakit raw dad?" I said while pretending I don't even know.

Holy shit.

"You know what, for the past three months you were gone, you already spent 3.5 Billion. " Sabi ni dad.

"And pera palang yan ng dad mo. The bank also called me saying you spent 16 million on my account." Dagdag pa ni mommy.

"Hindi ko pa nakakalimutan yung paggastos mo ng pera nila mommy at daddy. You spent 2 Billion of their money." Sabi pa ni mommy.

So what? Lolo and lola are generous kaya.

"Mom, dad, chill. It's not a big thing." Sabi ko.

" Not a big thing? Brianna, I don't care how much you spend but you're not helping with our business. You're spending carelessly. " Suway ni dad.

Napa hawak naman ako sa sentido ko. Here we go again...

"You left me no choice, Brianna." Seryosong sabi ni dad.

Binato niya sa harapan ko yung isang brown envelop. Tinignan ko lang ito.

"That's the partnership I signed a month ago with Mr. Marquis." Sabi ni dad.

"So?" Pagtataka ko

"You're gonna marry Mr. Marquis, honey, wether you like it or not." Mom said then faked a smile

Nanlaki yung mata ko sa sinabi ni mom.

"You owe us that for spending a lot of money. Since you don't want to help in our family business, fine. I'll make use of you this way." Sabi ni dad.

"You can't do this to me! I don't even know who the fuck---"

"Language." Pagputol ni mom.

"Save your tantrums. My decision is final." Sabi ni dad.

Padabog akong tumayo.

"I hate the two of you!" Galit kong sabi.

"You can't force me. Never." Dagdag ko pa.

Padabog akong lumabas sa office ni dad. Fuck. I need to get out of here now!
