Trigger Warning for some parts in this chapter: Mentions of murder and death.

Liz

It is currently New Year's Eve, and we're living it up.

Max is with El, while me, Brendon, Spencer and Dallon were outside putting up decorations.

"I think that's about it.", B sighed.

We all went to the kitchen and grabbed some water since we were all basically dying.

Milo, our kitty snuggled up next to Dal on the couch.

"Hey Mi.", he said, stroking his fur.

Benji ran in and sat next to Spence.

"Hey bud!", Spencer said as the little dog snuggled up next to him.

"So what's it like having a dog and a cat in the same house?", Dal asked, still stroking Milo's fur.

"Well, they get along most of the time. But there's those times where they absolutely hate each other's guts.", Bren replied.

I nodded in agreement.

El came in the living room, holding Max.

"Hey Spence, hey Dal!", she said.

"Hey El!", they replied.

She handed Max to Bren.

"He's getting a little fussy.", she whispered.

He nodded and she went back to her room.

He cradled him for a little before putting him in his room.

We hung out for a little more before it was almost time to celebrate the new year.

Brendon's bodyguard, Zack came to hang out with us.

We were all outside when we all started counting from 10.
10.
Oh my lord.
9.
I'm going into the new year with a kid and a soon to be husband.
8.
And I still live with my sister!
7.
I love my pets.
6.
So am I famous now?
5.
These last couple months have been awesome.
4.
I love you dad! I miss you everyday.
3.
Should I tell my mom happy new year?
2.
She hasn't called me in five years, we don't need her.
1.
I love you Bren.

"Happy New Year!", everyone yelled.

Since all our lovers weren't here, we all had one group hug.

A few minutes later, Bren went inside to get us all some beer and drinks and all of a sudden, fireworks went off.

It suddenly gave me flashbacks from what happened to my family.

Dad.

They k!lled dad.

Dad's gone.

I walked to the other side of the backyard and started hyperventilating and crying.

"Liz? Liz, what's wrong?", Spence called out to me.

They all started running towards me.

Dallon being the dad he is, started to calm me down.

"Liz. Hey. It's Dallon, breathe.", he whispered.

I began to breathe slightly better.

"I-I need space.", I choked out as he slowly backed away.

"They k!lled him.", I whispered, sobbing.

"Spence, go get Bren.", Dallon said.

"No.", I cried.

"Liz, he's gonna help you, okay? You're alright, just take deep breaths.", Dallon said softly.

Spence ran into the house and started screaming for Brendon.

He ran out and I was sitting there, sobbing. "Liz, babe, what's going on?", he asked. "They k!lled my dad. They sh@t him.", I screamed. It all occurred to him after he put two and two together. "They're coming for me next.", I whispered. "Baby, they're not coming for you. I promise.". He said, softly. "I want my dad.", I whispered in-between sobs. " I know you do sweets, but he's in that big, generous heart of yours.", he replied, softly tapping where my heart is. I smiled a little. "It was your ptsd, wasn't it?", he asked. I nodded, shamefully. I then remembered the events from earlier and guilt overcame my body. "Dallon.", I said. Everyone stared at me, including Dallon. "Dallon, I am so incredibly sorry.", I cried. "Hey Liz. It's okay.", he replied. "But I almost hurt you.", I whispered. "But you didn't actually hurt me. I know that wasn't you Liz. You couldn't control it, and that's okay. We aren't going to hate you for it.", he replied, cupping my tear stained face in his hand. We all decided to pack up and get ready to go to bed. Dallon, Spenc and Zack were all staying over. We all exchanged good nights before heading to bed.
A/N: hi! So this chapter showcases Liz's ptsd. Her dad was brutally mûrdēred in a break in when she was a kid. Ever since then, she's hated fireworks because it reminded her of that day, seeing her dad be k!lled right in front of her. Liz's dad's name was Ethan, and her mom's name is Evangelina. Ethan worked for a huge company called: Anderson.INC that was shut down after his de@th. In conclusion, Liz had an amazing dad, who gave nobody any trouble. Rest In Peace, Mr. Ethan Oliver Anderson.
