Chapter 12

So, today is my birthday and we are going to Hawaii. Just the four of us.

Me, Liz, Max and El.

It was Liz's idea, and I told her that it would be as much fun if it was just the 2 of us, and it wouldn't be fair to El to stay home alone with Max for 2 weeks, especially not while she was on spring break.

She agreed and El was up to it.

We got to the airport and we automatically got swarmed by paparazzi.

"El, get on my back.", I whispered.

She got on and I gave her my sunglasses.

Max was fast asleep on Liz's shoulder so she covered his face.

They may be exposed to the media already, but there was the equivalent to hundreds of paparazzi and El has anxiety.

So, it was me and Liz holding them with our sunglasses and hats on.

After a while, we boarded the plane.

I sat next to Liz on my left and El on my right.

"B, can you hold my hand?", El asked.

"Yeah, of course darlin'.", I replied, holding her hand.

"First time on a plane?"

"No, but it's been a while.", she mumbled.

"Hey, it's okay. I used to be afraid of planes, but it's gonna be okay. You can hold my hand for as long as you want to, okay?", I said and she nodded with a smile.

We took off and she got a little nervous but she calmed down.

A few naps and diaper changes later, we were in Honolulu.

We got to the hotel and it was nice and spacious, and we got El a room so she has her own space.

We got everything unpacked before taking a long nap.

We called El and asked what we should do. She said we should do a live-stream on this app called Periscope.

Luckily, I brought my Mac so we could do one, and I posted the link to the stream on my Twitter.

"Aloha!", we all said.

"We are currently in Hawaii for my birthday.", I said. "Ask us anything or if you have something to say then go ahead and say it in chat."

Possibly this time next year, we haven't even started planning yet to be completely honest.

I have a girlfriend and her name is Eliza.

do you guys plan on having more kids in the future?

Of course, definitely! But not right now, because Max is a handful.

A few hours later, we went out to eat and they brought out a birthday cake.

They sang and we celebrated the night with lots of dancing.
