"No! I refuse to leave you! After spending so much time together, I finally understand your decision. I can see your perspective. And I respect it. So I shall stay by your side!" The beautiful young lady screamed. Her hair fluttering in the night sky and the moonlight illuminating her.
"Haha— only my decision huh-. (Cough) so you're only willing to stay because you feel pity..." the handsome young man muttered. Blood dripping down from his wound. His lying figure looks as if he was just lying down to sleep. Eternal sleep.
"Please stay with me! Just a bit more!" She muttered. Her hand trembling as she is using too much magic trying to heal him. Knowing that it was useless. She wasn't strong enough. Her saint power is still not fully develop. Unless there is a high mage around, he is bound to wither.
The young man was quiet. He just laid there and look her shivering hands.
He wanted to hold them. He wanted to caress them. He wanted to cherish her until his last breath. But she doesn't look at him that way. The entire time, all this kindness was just her pity. Her pity for 'an abandoned one'. But he was happy. She treated him like no one else. She wasn't disgusted.
But in the end.
She didn't look at him that way.
It was just out of pity.
Pity.
"I'm tired..." he muttered.
"Please wake up! Don't sleep! You can do it!" Her face paled from exerting herself. Her face's desperate.
"#%*+•$, I want to tell you something..."
"Please do. I'll listen to anything you say."
"Haha—. You don't have to but—, thank you... for all this time. For your kindness, love,— everything..." he tried to form his mouth into a curve, but the pain stopped him from doing so, making his face turn into a sad smile.
"Mn. It's nothing. You deserve it." She tried smiling back, but couldn't after seeing his expression. Her tears fell nonstop.
"#%*+•$, don't cry." He wanted to touch her face and stop her tears from falling.
"But-!"
"Ah... I'm turning really sleepy... mm... be sure to not overwork yourself...""No!—."
Then suddenly, the screen went black.
BAM! Ian slammed the table.
For archon sakes! What the hell?!?! Why the hell is there a blackout now?!?! I was at the ending!!
Ian was tremendously furious because he spent the entire week trying to obtain a good ending for the secret character, but he died. And he didn't even get to see the whole thing. And he didn't save!! All his progress is gone!!!!
huhuhuhu! What am I going to do??
Ian ruffles his hair. Took off his glasses and went to the bathroom. He washed his face and stares at the mirror.
"I should really get a hair cut huh..."
His shoulder-length hair now hid his face. He grabbed his glasses once again and put them back on. Now, he looks like a total loser. He is skinny, has messy hair, and thick glasses and looks like a total waste of air.
Ugh, whatever. Don't have to be so mean book...
Ian went back to his room and checked his phone. It's currently 11:57. Since there's nothing to do, he'll simply grab some food.
As he was just about to walk out, he slipped on an orange peel, fell, and hit his head by the corner of the bed—.
Wait. What?
The world was spinning. His head hurts. Possibly bleeding. His body was immobilized. His breath quicken.
What's going on? Wait wait wait. Did I hit a nerve or something?? Why can't I move? This wasn't supposed to happen. I still haven't finished the game—.
Then, his vision went dark and he passed out.
Name: Ian
Age: 45
Birthday: 11/11
Death date: 12/26
Time: 12:00am
Cause of death: slipped on orange peel—.Wait! No! I refuse! What-?! I died like that?! Hell if I agree to that!! I demand justice! I don't want to die! I demand justice—!
Knock, knock.
??? Did somebody just knock? Wait... I'm... not dead?
Knock, knock.
Shit. Get up!!!
I dragged my body trying to get up and open my sluggish eyes. It's felt really hard to move my body. My vision was blurry and my hands were shaking.
Three knocks followed each other in rapid succession.
Ian dragged his body to the door until suddenly he halted.
Where am I? Who am I? What am I doing here?
These questions repeatedly run through his head.
While reaching for the door, he noticed that he wasn't in his room anymore, but an extravagant room filled with expensive furniture.
Also, a small mirror he found as he walked made him realize. I don't have amber color eyes—.
What is happening? Why does that look so familiar—.
BANG! The door flew open. Ian was dumbfounded.
"Young master! Are you okay?" A maid pops out from behind the man who broke the door.
??? Who—?
"Oh my god! Are you hurt?!" She panicked and scrambled her way over.
His pupils dilated. She looked familiar... too familiar.
Brunette color ponytail. Big puppy eyes, small face... and the maid uniform... why does she remind you of the maid of the villain of the Otome game, 'little secrets'?
My God, I look like the villain!! It can't be that I transferred over—.
"Kid. Get up. He's fine. No need to be so worried." The man who broke the door spit out in a disdainful tone. I can see the deep frown on his face.
"But—!"
"I'm fine—." I cut in. But then I abruptly stopped because the voice that came out of my mouth sounded different. It sounded... very pleasant... unlike his...
"See? The kid said he's fine. Let's go." The man dragged the maid away. She was unwilling but under the strong man's grip, she was like a salted fish.*
"Wait." She said to the man. Then she looked at me.
"Please get ready. Breakfast is ready and school will start soon." She finished her speech and went out with the man. Closing the door while walking out.
"..."
Ok... now is not the time to be confused. I should sort things out... but first, I need to look at myself again...
I turned back around to stare at the mirror.
Damn... I'm pretty...
