Arc 1 [1.9]

Ah~ how comfortable.. I thought as I hug the body pillow, rolling around on the wide bed. The soft mattress envelope my whole body as I let my body sink.

Ah rich people have it so nice!!! This is heaven!!

"Young master, you have to dry your hair first before you get to bed!!" Emily looked at me with helplessness. Her gentle expression made me feel ease as I sit up with a huge grin.

"They you dry it for me." I said showing a cocky and mischievous expression.

If it was in the last world, this expression would make you want to punch the living daylights out of him.

But now, with this expression, all you can see is a mischievous child whose trying to steal all your candies using his cute face. His eyes narrows with a light glint and his puffed out cheeks, his cute little mouth curve up to form a proud smirk.

Emily felt her legs has gone weak from the sudden cuteness, but also from shock!! She has never seen her master been this cheerful since one of his sibling stole his credit!! This is a miracle!!

Holding on to the chair, she tried to find her balance and made her way over with a towel. Aether turned around and showed his back. Indicating her to dry his hair, his head still held high showing that he's won the conversation. Emily felt her heart melt with sweetness as she rub his head with a towel in adoration.

The gentle rub on his head made him sleepy together with the soft wind from outside the window. The soft and comfortable bed was slightly warm from him rolling around slowly sink in as they stayed in one spot. Soon, Aether fell asleep.

Emily set down the towel as she tucked Aether into bed. Her gentle gaze glances over Aether soft expression. Turning around, she closed the windows and left the room. Her hand clutches her chest as she felt her heartbeat beating abnormally. A smile form on her face as she made her way back into the servants hall.

Noticing Emily, Nell made his way over to greet her but seeing her expression, he grew curious.

"Did something good happen?" He said approaching her. His hand enveloping her waist. His eyes held adoration in them.

"Young master.. don't you think he's different today?" She held his hand as they cuddled in each other arms.

"No? I don't think so... did he do something to you?" Nell asked as he narrowed his eyes. But thinking back of her expression. It must have been something good.

"You know how young master smiled this morning? Well.. he smile again!! He also didn't push me away and let me dry his hair!! When he asked me to dry his hair though! He looked like a mischievous kid whose trying to steal all the candies!! Ahhh" Emily yelled softly as she covered her face. It was obvious she was extremely excited.

"How is that possible? You know that our young master is the most depressing one out of all of them right? Not only he's extremely gloomy, doesn't talk to people, he doesn't even show his face to people properly. How on Earth did you even see his expression." Nell retorted!! There's just absolutely no way our young master can be so cute!! Even thought he have such a cute face, but because of his attitude, it is extremely hard for to get along with him.

"Are you saying that I'm lying!! It's true!! There's no way I would mistaken it!!" Emily turned around with a false fierce expression. Releasing herself from Nell's embrace, she turned around and pointed at him.

"If you truly don't believe me! How about you go and take care of him tomorrow!! But If what I said was true, then... you must.. do what I say!! But if I lose.. same thing goes for me!!" Emily spoked confidently.

Nell looked at her with helplessness. Why is she so confident about this? Did young master really change? But there's no way. Nell knew this because he has been a servant here for as long as he remember. Even before Emily!! But looking at her attitude. Nell found himself speechless. Because deep inside, he knew, he was excited too.

His young master was mistreated for so long. The young energetic boy slowly got gloomier and gloomier and he couldn't do anything to help. The more hope he gives, the worse the boy felt when he gets betrayed. Just like when he told him that maybe, his invention will make his family acknowledge him. But after finishing it, his credit was stolen by one of his bother. This has gotten to the point where the boy wouldn't even trust him when he took care of Aether since he was born.

Approaching Emily, he reached out his hand and held her tightly.

"Sure, I'll do it. But you must keep that promise ok?" Nell whispered. They both looked at each other, the distance between them grew closer and closer until.. they heard footsteps!!

Walking in the servant room, lily felt like she interrupted something but she soon put it to the back of her mind. Seeing Nell and Emily just standing awkwardly at the table. She shrugged it off and went to grab a drink and left.

"..."
"..."

"I'll go.. make sure to wake young master up in time.." Emily said as she scurried her way to her room. Her face flushed red.

Nell chuckled and slowly walked back to his room. As he walked, he slowly go over Emily's schedule for the day. They knew each other schedule because everyone was supposed to know other people's schedule. To be a servant in this household, one must be excellent at all jobs. So when one servant is absent for any reason, other can make up for it.

The night passed in a blink of an eye and the birds soon start their morning vocal practice. The chirping together with the soft rustle of the leaves tickled Aether's ears. The sunshine seeps through the window as Nell opens the currents. Turning around, Nell greeted Aether.

"Good morning young master. For today, I will be responsible to take care of you." Nell said, smiling.

"Mm.. mornin.." Aether slowly rise from his position. His nightgown slightly slipped to one side showing one of his creamy white shoulder. His eyes hazy due to the tears from his yawn. He looked like a fallen angel.

Nell found himself lost at words. His eyes was blessed!!

"Somethin... happen to Emily or somethin.. *Yawn*" Aether continued as he made his way off the bed and headed to the bathroom.

"Nothing happened to her young master. She just had something importantes do." Nell replied.

"Ish that sho.." Aether replied turning around at Nell. "That's good." A small smiled was offered to Nell.

Turning back, Aether went into the bathroom to get ready. Nell was left alone outside, frozen in place.

Oh my goodness... was Nell's only thought.
