I stared at the mirror in awe. My eyes widened and my jaw dropped. The picture was simply stunning.

The man who looked back at him from the mirror was the most beautiful person Ian ever saw.

Aether has amber peach color eyes. He has a high bridge nose, rosy soft lips, and a small face. His eyes appear helpless. He looks like a rabbit lost in the wilderness. His long, black, curly locks fall from above his shoulder. That expression makes him look like a small rabbit that just found a giant carrot farm.

He's prettier than in the game. And more feminine too...? Wait, staring like that should be enough now... haha... haha...

Ian slapped his face. Trying to clear his head while seeing if he's dreaming or not.

"Ow!" That hurts. Welp, hey at least I know that it's not a dream.

Ian walks over to the window. He opens the curtains and looks out the window. The weather outside is freezing. He turns around to look at the calendar and it's winter. So that means the heroine's arch will be ready in two weeks...

Ok. Let's get things straight. I was transmitted into the villain of the Otome game that I was playing. And it seems to be the beginning of winter. So that means I haven't met the heroine yet. And I also noticed that my eyesight is better. I can see the calendar all the way from the bedpost. Maybe that means that my physical strength also change?

My hypothesis was verified by trying to crush various objects of different hardness. However, it seemed like my strength has gotten stronger. I suppose it is pretty strong compared to this world. Since he was in the special force in the military, you can say that he is a pretty fit person. But because of his negligence, he became skinny.

Well, he no longer has to work in the military anymore so technically, he can slack off and get weaker since he retired.

"Young master? Are you done?"

"Ah right. I'll be there soon." I replied.

I went to the grand closet and changed into my uniform. It has been so long since I've worn uniform. Right. And the servant too. It seems that the maid that was worried about him earlier was Emily.

Emily. The daughter of the head maid. She is the only person in the house that cared about Aether. Well, it's mostly out of pity since he is 'an abandoned one'.

'An abandoned one'. A term for people who cannot use magic. Or in another word, 'the one who is abandoned by god.' This title was awarded to Aether when he became 4. His family was devastated when they found out about this. In this world, abandoning someone from your bloodline is a sin. It's like betraying your ancestors' hard work. So they cannot abandon him. But they took away his heir privileges, took away his family name, and put him aside like an invisible person. So since that day forward, he was abused, humiliated, and treated as a waste of air. His family looks down on him, and no one cared about him. When someone does, it's always out of pity.

One day, Aether suddenly showed an amazing invention that he made to his family thinking that this, could maybe finally give him some acknowledgment. But his brother stole it and took credit for it. This made him felt extremely hurt, betrayed, and hatred. He started to invent the machine, potion, and dangerous weapon to destroy everyone that hated him. Everyone thought he was a freak, he has a bad reputation, and everyone hated him because of his weird obsession with dangerous weapons, and because he wanted to harm people. They knew it was dangerous, but they didn't take him seriously so they let him create more dangerous things thinking it was trash since he put them in his closet like it's a toy. That was when he was 14. The following year, he was the trouble maker of the school. He plated bombs and traps everywhere on different school events harming many people. But nobody knows that he did it. Then 2 years later, he met the heroine. She showed him a whole new world. He loved her. But he was also jealous of her. He wanted to be recognized, he wanted to have a strong ability like her. But he acts like it's nothing. He acted friendly with her and it was like any other friendships. Until he found out that she was a Saint. He wanted her to be his test subject. For destruction of people who hated him. He tried confronting her about it thinking that maybe, she would feel pity and help him. Of course, he didn't tell her that he wanted to harm people, he just told her that he needed her so he can create something amazing to be recognized. And she agreed. But before he could finish it, she found out about his destructive thoughts. So she asks help from her 'followers', and capture him. He was then put to a trial, and was sentenced to be executed after they found out that he was the person responsible for many dangerous school incidents and intention of harming the world.

To be honest, Aether was probably his favorite character though. He was also a hidden route of the game. Which was the one he was playing before he was transferred here. He liked him because he was smart. If you can't fight physically, then let's use the brain instead. He also likes the villain's way of thinking. One of his favorite quote from Aether is:

"If I were able to desire only one thing, it wouldn't be to destroy everyone I hate, but to destroy everyone who hates me."*

Ahhh. The thought sent chills down his spine.

After putting on the uniform, Ian washed his face, tied his hair up into a low ponytail, grab his book bag, and went downstairs.

"If there was a button that would make everyone I hate die, I probably wouldn't push it. But if there was a button that would make everyone who hated me die, I'd push it without hesitation."
