i was on a call with nailea, luke and valerie and we were discussing the comments louis and chelsea left under my finsta post.

"can't believe he's her 'babe'," luke rages.

"i bet she just said babe to piss us off. there's no way they're dating after one week of knowing each other. right?" i asked the group unsurely.

"i'm so sorry you have to go through this nova, if you need us we're all here," valerie says. i hated these monkeys most of the time but i could deal with them sometimes.

"yeah," luke and nailea chimed in.

"thanks guys but i'll think i'll be okay. just gotta get my mind straight for the auditions on monday so i can beat chelsea and brag about it forever." we all laughed at the comment and stayed up till 2am playing minecraft.

"alright im gonna get off, see yall tomorrow." we all said bye to each other and i went to go get ready for bed. i walked back into my room to find someone crawling through the window. i grabbed my bat that was leaning against the door and was ready to hit the intruder. the figure stumbles and falls onto my bedroom floor and they turned around revealing their identity.

"louis?" i question. "what the actual fuck dude, scared the heebie jeebies out of me," i whisper so my mum doesn't hear me.

"i'm sorry but i couldn't get away from chelsea and i didn't wanna come through the front door and disturb the household. i was just hoping to talk," he shrugged.

"uh yeah sure," i say. "i guess," i mumble to myself. "what'd you wanna talk about...that you couldn't text me about?" i asked him.

"i just wanted to check up on you and ask you something..."

"yeaa...?" i was on the edge of my seat. i needed to know what he was going to ask.

"well firstly, be honest with me. are you upset that i keep hanging out with chelsea," he says while looking into my ocean blue eyes.

"if i'm being honest. no, i'm not happy. she's me enemy and i don't want you to be treated the same way. chelsea is someone you shouldn't hang with." i confess.

"oh okay, if that's what you want then i won't hang out with chelsea," he replies.

"wait really? you'd do that for me?" i question.

"yeah, of course. you're my closest friend and i would never want to loose you," he admits. i hug him so tightly and we stay in each other's arms for a while.

before we let go i say, "i love you louis."

"i love you too nova," i hear from him. we let go of each other and stare into each other's eyes.

"i- uh." i stutter.

"i should probably get home," he finally says.

"yes! of course. i'll see you at school on monday." i reply.

"bye nova," he says before climbing out the window again. were we about to kiss?
