Re Placed (George Weasley fanfic)

Chapter 3

The morning after, it is kind of still dark. The winter is coming soon, that means the holidays will be here soon. Which means I will be alone. The candles near the ceiling makes it feel less depressing. It kind of gives a cosy atmosphere. I am having breakfast with Angelina, Alicia, Lee, Fred and George. I can really see what George ment. They're iconic. It's kind of amusing to look at.
A couple of minutes later the owls arrive with the mail. It's thrown everywhere on the tables. Angelina gets a letter with jewelry in it for her birthday, Fred and George get sweaters from their mom and to my surprise I get a package too. I open it and there they were, my school uniform and school books. But how in the world? I look at the teachers table to see if anyone is looking my way, but it's empty. Probably, because it's almost time for our first class of the day: 'Transfiguration' I feel comfortable with the idea having that first, because I already knew professor McGonagall.

"Pssst Y/N" Angelina whispers on our way to transfiguration.

"What's up?" I ask her.

"Don't you notice?"

"What don't I notice?"

"George! He is staring at you the entire time, I swear by Merlins beard!"

"What?" I whisper loudly.

"George is staring at you!"

"What do you mean he's staring at me, everybody does that, I'm the new weirdo."

"Yeah, but no"

"Thanks Angelina" I say sarcastic.

"I was joking"

"I know"

"But I'm serieus, he doesn't take his eyes of of you!"

I laugh "Yeah, sure."

"Okay, if you don't believe me..."

I look his way to see if Angelina is right and I catch him immediately. I want to look away but I couldn't, until he finally broke the eye contact.

"That was weird" I murmur.

"What?" Alicia asks after she finishes her conversation with Lee.

"Oh nothing" I respond.

Later in class:
(Fred and George POV)
"Pssst George, what made you become the quite one?" Fred asked.
"Nothing, just paying attention to class." "Of course you are!" Fred whispers with a smirk.

(Y/N POV):
"Hey Angelina, after our conversation. You know... I looked his way to see if he was looking and he was! We made really awkward eye contact" I tell Angelina.
"Oh my, I knew it!" Angelina whispers loudly.
"Are you serious?" Alicia reacts from the school desk next to us, as if she was eavesdropping the entire time, while Lee is sitting next to her looking confused.
We laugh and get caught by McGonagall right away.
"Is there something funny lady's?"
"No ma'am" we say at the same time while we giggle a little afterwards.

Transfiguration is over and we are walking to potions and of course everyone already warned me for professor Snape. Alicia is talking to Lee and Angelina started walking slower so she can walk with Fred for a while and when George see's her coming, he walks faster towards me.
