A loud roar erupted that seemed to be coming from above. Strong gusts of wind started to blow in the direction of the far city. We shielded our faces from the large gusts of wind and looked upwards at the source of this phenomenon. I squinted my eyes at first, but then adjusted to the bright light. My eyes widened in pure shock and amazement at the large beast-- a dragon of some sort-- figure soaring above us. It's beautiful colors that stood out; it shined in the light from the sun. We lowered our hands as the large dragon gusts of wind had died down.

We witnessed it slowly descend into the forest ahead of us. I simply stood there along with Aether and Paimon, still in disbelief. I had read in some books about these mysterious creatures back in the library. Luna was kind enough to let me take some volumes.

Seeing one up close, seeing one just in general, is just breathtaking.

"Looks like it descended into the upcoming forest ahead! Let's be careful now." Paimon pointed out as she made us return back to our regular state. Aether and I nodded in agreement as we followed the small creature into the wooded area.

The environment certainly felt small indeed. Everything was crammed together in this forest, the path was fairly thin to fit two people side by side. I felt the warmth of the sun through the small cracks between the leaves.

The forest still was an absolutely beautiful area. Still full of life, with the colorful flowers and plants that sat under the medium sized trees.

All this beautiful scenery, but something felt off. Something was lurking nearby.

We kept following the path in the said, "Whispering Woods" when all of a sudden, a familiar roar came from ahead. The roar sounded distant, but the power of it was large enough to shake the surrounding trees.

"I have a bad feeling about this..." I commented as the three of us proceeded forward with caution.

"Wait," Aether stopped me and Paimon in our tracks. There was a slightly large opening in the woods in front of us, a few meters away.

And there it was in all its glory; the large beast that sat on top of a boulder.

It looked like it was currently being tamed. We shifted our glance to another sight in front of us. Another human.

They had green attire that almost blended in with the trees. Their hair was braided on both sides; the ends colored in a green tint.

The person had a floating object besides them. Some kind of instrument from the looks of it. As it reached out, the dragon rested its forehead in the humans comfort.

Aether pulled me behind a tree as we hid from the two beings.

"I thought you were smarter than to just stand there out in the open where you could've gotten us caught," The boy scolded. This is one of the rare moments when Aether was thinking more smarter than me.

"Since when did you have a more thinkable noggin, huh?" I angrily whispered back. He simply rolled his eyes.

"You were zoning out like you do sometimes-"

One large roar erupted from the beast as it shook the tree we were hiding behind. We peaked around to see the human also bracing himself from the powerful gusts from the dragon. It could have been aggravated.

Then on certain parts of Aether's clothing, it started to glow a bright teal color, which somehow made the dragon even more aggravated from the looks of it. Almost out of control.

"Who goes there?" The voice came from the human who tried to tame the mysterious creature. It sounded like a young male's voice. However none of us answered him, but we witnessed him suddenly back away from the dragon, and disappear. Its wings carried it high in the air and suddenly flew off away from the forest.
