One thing that certainly surprised me during the ongoing expeditions, was the unexpected wings that the twins had, as well as my own...

"We found out about them a few days before we went off, so surprise?" Lumine sounded uncertain as she spun around showing the beautiful golden crystal wings that were floating behind her back. Aethers looked exactly like hers.

Mine on the other hand was more dark, and of course, purple. It floated like the twins did and had silver ends and it just matched with my entire being.

"Yours are definitely a sight," Aether commented as I spun around for them. It was nice that I could easily control when to use them or not, though I wasn't sure if it was a part of my so-called 'Vision' or not.

We landed on a large platform, looking at an unfamiliar sky in front of us, after quite the trip to the continent of Teyvat. I had thought it would be a beautiful place where we could stay for a while, however, as we awoke from the stars, we saw that the world was in complete turmoil. Cataclysm raged across its lands, so it was best if we leaved for the time being, seeing that it was being demolished of some sort.

Our surroundings were breathtaking, however something felt off in the air. Something more unknown.

I couldn't believe my eyes as a rip in time, forming three large, dark stars in front of us. The three of us stepped back in shock as an unfamiliar figure slowly appeared out of the darkness. They stood tall and gave us a menacing glare.

"Outlanders," The unknown figure spoke, "Your journey ends here,"

My body didn't know what to do, but stayed still. The other two, however, looked unphased.

"Who are you?" Lumine called out.

I had to do something other than looking like a coward.

"The sustainer of heavenly principles," Her hair looked like it was flowing as if it was underwater, "The arrogation of mankind ends now,"

With a piercing look in her eye, she summoned a small cube from her hand, but that cube then appeared below our feet, enlarging to a much bigger size. This one cube had scattered us in different directions.

I summoned my wings as well as Lumine and Aether, in hopes of not falling down into the abyss. We only had one option: to battle.

We all reached for our swords and started to charge the sustainer. But to my surprise she seemed more powerful than I thought. With a raise of her hand, a trail of large cubes followed behind her, heading straight in our direction. Aether, Lumine and I were still at far distances with one another, so verbal communication was hard especially when we had an enemy in front of us who could predict our every move.

One of her cube pillars came for me, and I did my best to swerve around it at a fast pace. The twins raced outwards, away from the sustainer as I charged in from the front, I let them get some extra time, so I quickly started to distract her while they charged in from different directions.

I dove to the left and up, still having the cube pillar chase after me, as it looked like it could devour me if I even slowed down one bit. I didn't even realize I was going so fast. I went up as high as I could, hoping to reach a far point where I could somehow slow down the pillar, but a large explosion of light came directly down below me. It caught me off guard, and even blew away the cube trial. I lost my balance for a moment until I grasped it again, looking downwards I saw both my friends, being held back by the sustainers two hands, shielding them from getting any closer.

Now's my chance.

With the flying power I have left in me, I dove down as fast as I could, straight from the side, thinking she would be too busy with the two, so I could break them from her grasp. I had thought my quick thinking skills were off the chart until a large column of dark red cubes came from her other side, surprising me. I swerved out of the way just in time, while also breaking free of her shields. However it was only one of the shields that caught her off guard.

I flew back from the impact and Aether flew back as well. We both still weren't in close vicinity with one another. But the sustainer looked busy, and by that, I meant the sustainer used her powers to slowly swallow up Lumine from the tip of her sword.

"Lumine!" Both of us called out to her. The poor girl gave us both a look of surprise and fear as the last of the deathly cubes consumed her whole being, which then sized down to a smaller cube.

Lumine looked scared.

The sustainer took the smaller cube and examined it closer, and I took the perfect opportunity to finally get a hit on her. Aether had the same idea.

We both went from behind her, with charged swords. I could feel the power of the vision flowing through my body, allowing me to charge with ease.

The both of us dove straight down to finally beat her, but her reflexes were faster than I anticipated.

A large flash appeared in front of me and all I could see was white, until the explosion died down, to see me and Aether's swords disappear, and our hands were at the mercy of the dark cubes once again.

The sustainer was slowly absorbing, no, sealing, the powers we both have. I could slowly feel the strong energy from my body becoming smaller and weaker, that is when the necklace around me started to glow a bright red. I looked down at it, to see it detonate, forming some kind of red glow around me. Whatever this was, it was preventing me from getting the powers within me, sealed.

The cubes were quick though, it rapidly swallowed both me and Aether up, and I could somehow feel Aether's power sealed away. I couldn't feel mine being taken, however everything started to go blurry and my hearing was only distant rings.

I looked at the unknown god before everything else closed on me. Her eyes looked cold, and emotionless. She held so much power.

The last words I remembered hearing were,

"Give Lumine back..."

And with that, everything went black as the sustainer put a seal on the both of us, making Aether lose his powers.

Me on the other hand? I have no idea.

"And with that, the god took her away. Some kind of seal was put upon me, and I lost my power. So while we used to travel from world to world, we are now stuck here.

"How many years ago was it? I have no idea, but we intend to find out."
