I told Lumine and Aether about the mysterious sword with my name engraved on the handle, and they seemed excited about it. They both examined the object with care as I held it up to meet our faces.

"Now isn't that mysterious or what?" Aether commented as he grazed his finger along the metal blade.

I met them down at the village, disguised of course. Night had already fallen, so I took the perfect opportunity to sneak out swiftly as I always do. For some reason, security around my area wasn't high at all.

My hair was always tied up or braided which is how people recognized me considering I have long locks of hair. When I go out to the village, I keep my cloak up and covering my face as well as my hair down. Sometimes it gets in the way of things, but I would rather have it long because it acts like someone is embracing, almost like protecting me in some cases.

Lumine, Aether and I were in our usual hangout spot, hidden from the crowds of people, which was behind their living place. It wasn't much for them, but it kept them cozy enough.

The blonde girl chuckled and headed over to a working bench settled by the large stone wall. "We may or may not have also been working on some things as well." She picked up the long, thin sword from the bench and turned to face Aether and I. It had a periwinkle color to its handle and such a simple design. The blade was made of a more light grey-ish metal that made it look almost like my blade.

"It's pretty basic, but with some more work done with it from the help of a special someone, I'm sure it'll be a powerful one." She demonstrated the work of the sword with a few slashes here and there. I applauded at her mini show as she bowed a bit, and carefully set the sword down on the bench again.

"Who's the special someone?" I pondered.

"We went out in the forest on a miniature expedition and we so happened to find an adventurer who has traveled long enough to have some kind of knowledge of forging," Aether answered as he looked at his sister, who nodded in agreement.

"We told him we too would be adventurers some day, and he then offered to help us reach that goal,

"He knows how to create gateways to the outside world which is for one, a large step for the start of our exploration outside this world." Lumine leaned back on the stone wall, while Aether and I still sat in our respective chairs.

"He's pretty aged as well, so his knowledge is substantial about the topic." The boy commented. "Of course along with forging that is,"

"That's a great start!" I couldn't have been happier to hear, however the next two years would be filled with preparation with this mysterious blacksmith adventurer, and when the day arrives, our plan would set forth. "When did you guys meet that person exactly?"

"Just a few days ago, we went exploring to pick for fresh apples to help someone complete a task and we ran into him on the path," Lumine explained. "There was something about him that felt as if he had some kind of powerful aura..."

"I noticed he did also have a circular locket contraption hanging from his belt loop," The other twin started, seeming to think a little, "Was it a fiery red or an electric purple Lumine?"

"Oh you're talking about the thing around his belt loop, I'm pretty sure it was a glowing purple, like the one on your case, Rai." The blonde girl pointed down at the lengthy case where my sword rested. Aether got up from his seat and examined the case closely.

"Yeah the trinket looked exactly like this design on your case Rai," The boy retracted back and returned to his seat in question, "When the day comes, show the old male the case and sword of yours, maybe the symbols on the trinket and the lock could have a connection somehow,"
