Chapter 1

Akaashi's pov

"Alright I'm going to school bye mom." I kiss her cheek as I grab a piece of toast to leave.

"Ok Keiji. Don't forget I have a date again tonight okay?" She hugged me and I nodded. I walked out the door to see Bokuto-san.

"Good morning Bokuto-san." I said.

"Morning 'Kaashi." He beamed and we began to walk to school. Bokuto-san was talking as I listened like usual. We arrived at school and went to our classes before the bell.

"Hello Kenma." I greeted him as he just nodded and muttered his greeting while moving his fingers at an amazing speed on his phone.

"Guess what!" Oikawa-san sat down at our lunch table.

"What is it Kawa?" Suga-san questioned.

"Well, someone from another school invited me and Bo-chan to a party and were allowed to bring friends as long as they have something like food or drinks to bring for everyone." Oikawa-san seemed excited.

"Really?" I looked up.

"Yeah wanna come?" He asked before putting some food in his mouth.

"Not really. I mean my mom won't be home until tomorrow, I guess I could, but I don't know." I tell him.

"Please! You and Kenma haven't been to a party in like forever!" Atsumu-san said.

"Tobio-chan is even coming. Although I'm concerned. He said he'd bring milk. To a HIGHSCHOOL PARTY, Tobio-chan is so weird." They all started laughing at the boy who went to another school but was still in the loop after moving only a month ago.

"Come on Kenma, Akaashi you guys need to live a little!" Suga-san said while offering a nice smile.

"Fine. I guess I'll bring chips. Kenma?"

"Yeah sure whatever. As long as I get to bring my switch I'll also bring some salsa to go with them." He said without even looking up.

"Ok it's settled!" Oikawa-san clapped his hands.

"I'm excited!" Atsumu-san wrapped an arm around Oikawa's shoulder while laughing.

"Yeah and remember last time~ Sakusa will be there." Suga-san teased the now blushing Atsumu-san.

' "Shut up." He mumbled.

"Pick me up later?" I asked Bokuto-san before going up to my front door.

"Okay Agaashi!" He nodded before walking to his place.

I would have preferred the party to be some other day like tomorrow. I mean sure it's Friday but I just got back from school and I'm already tired. How will I survive this party?

I start my homework before fishing out the chips from the cabinet which wouldn't be eaten anyway.

My mom is always out with Otoko-san. That's his first name. She always calls him that and I forgot his last name due to this. It's whatever. I'm happy she's finally gotten over my dad leaving a couple years back but she's barely home.

Kuroo's pov

I prepared for the party I was invited to and decided to bring some drinks. My dad is on another date with some lady I met once around like 8 months ago or something.

I changed into black cargo pants, white shirt, and a red jean jacket. I grabbed the alcohol, phone, keys, and headed out.

It's about 7 pm now so there shouldn't be too many people.

I drove up to the edge of the woods where the bonfire would be. It was on Terushima's property so we wouldn't be in trouble for any trespassing.

"You made it! Those drinks?" Teru was carrying out some wood.

"Yeah. Want them over there?"

"Yes, thank you. I heard Oikawa and Bokuto are bringing in some new fellas. And that guy Kenma is coming." He said. That's weird, normally Kenma isn't up for anything social.

Kenma and I went to school together before Highschool so I guess we were somewhat friends.

"Alright sounds good." I head off to help him with some other preparations.

"You really don't have to." He chuckled.

"No, I like to do this stuff. Gets my mind off stuff." I mumble the last part as he just hums.

"Ok then." He then gave me a couple tasks that I was glad to do.

An hour later there was a good amount of people. I already grabbed a beer and just decided to talk a little here and there as I waited for Oikawa and Bokuto.

"HEY HEY HEY!"

"Bokuto-san, not so loud." A really pretty black haired boy told Bokuto. He was stunning. He wore fitted black jeans, and a red, orange, and white striped sweater.

"Sorry Agashki! Oh! Hey, Kuroo!" Bokuto quickly brought me back from staring at the literal angel.

"Sup Bro. Kawa." I move towards them. I hugged Bokuto and Oikawa before being introduced to the others.

"You actually came huh, Kenma." I laughed.

"Oh it's the rooster." He scoffed.

"So mean." I feigned a pout.

"So who's the hottie?" I smirked and gestured towards the angel from before me who was now blushing from the compliment.

"Ku-chan this is Akaashi. Or for me Aka-chan of course." Oikawa said.

"Then Suga-chan already ran off. And Atsu- Atsumu already left to find Sakusa didn't he?" Oikawa huffed before saying he'd go find Atsumu-san.

"So Akaashi." I said awkwardly.

"You're Kuroo-san?" I nodded.

"Bokuto-san likes to talk about you after parties sometimes." He licked his lips before turning them into a thin line.

"Hopefully nothing bad."

"That's debatable." I smile at the soft and quiet response.

"I'm going to go get a drink and talk to some other people bye!" Bokuto ran off.

"Wait Bokuto-san you can't- just leave me here." Akaashi slowly got quieter.

"Don't worry about it. I'll keep you company." I winked which he seemed to get a little flustered from.
