Jon watched his wife, she was beautiful, the way the candle light lit up her face as her green eyes carefully scanned over the book she was reading.
She was way better at leading then he was, she was patient and understanding with the noble leaders. Always calm, collected, and always thinking of solutions to problems.
"What are you thinking about my love?" She questioned.
"I-I'm not thinking about anything." He answered causing Maliya to raise her eyes from the book and cock an eyebrow at the man.
She chuckled and shook her head, deciding not to press the matter she went back to reading.
"Lady Snow!" A voice shouted from with in the library.
Maliya rolled her eyes.
"Never a minute of peace." She stated making Jon chuckle. As a man came from around the corner. Noticing Jon and Maliya he suddenly stopped in his tracks bowing his head.
"Pardon the intrusion My Lord and Lady. Lady Snow you have an urgent letter from Blackmoon." He said
Jon and Maliya exchanged a quick look, turning their attention back the the man. Maliya went to stand, Jon stopped her and went to retrieve the letter from the man.

Maliya's POV
I watched the man leave as Jon brought the letter to me. I smiled at him.
"Jon, I'm with child not dying." I said taking the letter from his hands.
"I know." He said simply.
Standing behind me he put his hands on my shoulders as I opened the letter, the first couple of paragraphs were about Blackmoon and how things were going, the next paragraph was a congratulations on the pregnancy. It was the last paragraph that was written in an old language, that caught my eye. I stopped reading out loud telling Jon it was the end of the letter.
A message has reached me from our eyes and ears. A white haired woman by the name of Daenerys Targaryen has amassed many ships with the help of the Greyjoys in the Summer Sea, she also has acquired an army containing Dothraki, Unsullied, and three large dragons. She's finally making her move to Westeros, with the aim of conquering the throne and lands lost to the Targaryens in Roberts Rebellion. I'd be lying if I said I wasn't troubled by this, I'm worried she may be like her father.
I wasn't aware we had eyes and ears that far south. I shut the letter.
My husband was already stressed about the army of the undead, he doesn't need another potential war on his mind at the moment.
Jon kissed the top of my head pulling me from my thoughts.
"What does the bottom of the letter say?" he muttered into my hair.
I sighed. It would be worse to lie to my husband.
"A fleet of ships has been spotted in the Summer Sea, I-"
"Summer sea is along way from here. We'll worry about them if they come North." Jon said cutting me off.
"Thank you for telling me." He said, he then chuckled. "As you said earlier not a moment of peace." he added.
"Mmm, it seems to be that way." I said leaning back in the chair resting my head on his stomach as I looked up at my husband.
"I need to go see Melisandre." He said looking down at me his smile disappearing .
