Episode: Kill The Boy

Maliya's POV

The cold winds of winter accompanied me as I walk outside, I looked up at the sky taking a moment to admire the snow as I continued to walk. It was very early in the morning so there wasn't may brothers out besides the ones on night watch, and Stannis' men who where preparing to leave.

I sighed as I reached the wooden stairs. I was pondering if this was a good idea or not I looked down at the tray of food in my hands then back up at the wooden door. This was my second stop of the day.

I sighed and continued up the stairs, I balanced the tray carefully in one hand as I opened the door. He sat in the corner of the room, I could feel his gaze on me form across the room. I sat the tray down on the table. "I brought you breakfast." I said as he stood up and walked over to me.

He stopped right in front of me. He towered over me, he had bright red hair that was unkempt and a large beard, his eyes where a pale greenish color. I pulled out a key and unlocked his chains.

"Why?" He asked his voice was deep and gravely. "You don't need chains to eat." I said looking into his eyes. "I could kill you." He said " Aye, You could, you can kill me with chains on or off, there's really not that big of a difference. However If you do try to kill me I'd rather you have a fair chance of fighting." I said, he nodded and pushed passed me knocking me off balance slightly and sat down at the table.

"Come." He demanded. I walked over and sat across from him. I sat quietly as he ate deep in my own thoughts until he spoke. "I thought women crows weren't allowed." He said. "South of the wall a lot of things are not allowed. I'm the maester in training who has been allowed to stay here under special circumstances.." I said.

"A woman maester who can fight like a man?" he questioned. "What good is a woman who cant fight."I said he smirked "You aren't like the other crows." He stated briefly. I gave a meek smile, "Tormund" He said I smiled "Maliya." I said he nodded "Beautiful name for a beautiful woman." He said slightly catching me off guard I felt my face heat up.

"Jon- I mean the Lord Commander is going to come and talk to you later." I said then sighed looking up at Tormund "Why?" Tormund asked in a semi-annoyed tone. "Probably for you to convince the wildlings to come south of the wall." I said Tormund looked down at his food and started eating again.

"They won't follow him, but we all have a common enemy." I said getting up and grabbing the chains. Tormund stood up "I think you should listen to what Jon has to say." I said he scoffed and walked over to me placing his hands out in front of him. "They won't follow any of us, but if I got North you are going with me... Maliya Astor." He said as I put the chains back on him.

"Haven't you ever wondered what it's like to free from a king?" He asked me as he went and sat back down  I sighed. "Always, my time of freedom will come. However, as of now I'm not done playing the game of thrones."
