Episode: The Door
~~~~~~~
"You want my help?" She asked me "That is what I just asked for." I said, she stared at me blankly.
She burst out laughing. "That's hilarious, you... you want to defy your beloved Jon Snow's orders, pretty impressive... Ahhhh who am I kidding, this is the funniest thing Ive heard in hundreds of years child.. You've been obsessed with helping this Jon Snow since you met him, you've almost died for him, you where going to pledge your life to Lord Snow. Why the change of heart all of a sudden?" She asked as her face turned serious and laughter disappeared.
I folded my arms in front of myself and leaned on the wall, as I stared into the eyes of the monster in the Amulet.
"Snow doesn't understand the magnitude of the situation they are in at Blackmoon. I also need magic to defeat the Counsel." I said, I watched as she smiled showing her pointed teeth to me. Her black soulless eyes peered in to my green ones.
"Defying the orders of your master? Fucking the wildling man. " She said her mouth contorted into a sly smile, she moved her hands as she continued to talk "Say I help you child... What's in it for me?" She asked
"I'll set you free and you can return to the mountains near Blackmoon." I said. She looked up towards the ceiling contemplating my answer. "There's been a lot of souls who have offered me that." She said her eyes left the ceiling and met mine. I said nothing, I had nothing left to offer her.
"I have a better idea." She stated "Do you know what a familiar is?" She asked me walking closer. "I've read about them." I stated simply not moving from my spot. "Here's what I have for you child. Help me create a physical form, an we can share the magic, youll be able to finish the journey into Sainthood and I'll be able to wonder the earth next to the mortal who defeated me." She said placing her hands on my arms.
"How do I know I can trust you?" I asked her "Hmmm" She hummed and gave a sweet smile.
"I've been trapped in this amulet a very long time child, while this isnt full freedom it would be a very nice chance of scenery...." She said
"We've been locked in a stalemate child, our magic intertwined.. Why not make it one, we could become the strongest House Astor has ever seen...." She said she pulled her arms away and turned her back to me as she walked away .
"Think of all the wonderful things we could do as a team." She said dragging her hand on the wall as she slowly walked. "You can help your beloved Jon Snow in his future battles, save the people of house Astor, blah blah blah." She said
She stopped walking "You could turn this amulet into your amulet, destroying the one your mother has already given to the counsel." she said looking back at me, she caught my attention.
Destroying the amulet would give me the advantage, but its going to cost me. I sighed
"I see you've made your choice." She said smiling.
Jardan's POV
I stood outside on a balcony over looking the city that surrounded the castle, the wildlings and those who have been brought back from being trapped in the ice have made quick work in restoring the castle back to its former glory.
I leaned against the rail my hands supporting my weight. I sighed.
On the other side of this, things have not been going to plan behind the closed doors of the castle. The Counsel according to Athen have been using outlawed magic to search for Maliya on the other side of The Wall. The Counsel has become increasingly insubordinate as time has gone on.
