Chapter 25: The Final Tape

Who would have thought that the person she diss the most is the only person who she can trust with a much serious case in her lifetime right now.

A much pale and weaken Michigan surprises Vivoree in a hotel longue far from the city. She can't barely walk for her body was feeling the cancer inside her.

"It's a stage IV Colorectal Cancer , I found this last year and my doctor says that it might only take two."

Vivoree was about to feel brightened about her sudden disappearance for this would make Jordan in such a terrible breakdown.

"Maybe that's why he had a vision." Vivoree whispered.

Michigan got confused about her murmerings which chooses not to explain and jumped into another topic. Michigan then told her the real reason why she called her and that's because she can't drive on herself.

"I wanted to go back to where I truly belong"

The two became more of sisters as they shared the foggy road together. Talking about how Michigan and Jordan used to meet each other again and the childhood. But on some point, she took some guts to confess her apologies to Vivoree.

"Promise me you will take care of Jordan" Michigan grabs her left hand with coldness.

Vivoree tried to joke her out but she seems serious about it that leaves her no choice but to take her wish and promised her to look after him. The night glooms around the streetlights as they were getting closer to their destination.

As soon as she hits the break Michigan pulls her before she gets out of the car. Telling her that she have one more request. Vivoree seems curious about the last request but it is the most unexpected request she might think of.

Michigan leans for a gentle kiss at Vivoree's lip.

"If I don't make it, can you give that kiss to Jordan?"

Vivoree got stunned by the unexpected smooch from Michigan. She was getting pressured and started sweating for both of them got their first queer kiss.

"Come on and I know you like him too , besides if I die I wanted to know who's going to take my place"

Besides of her depressing and weak stage she still seems to have humor around her. Vivoree have no choice but to smile and accept her biggest wish and responsibility yet.

Mrs. Hailey were shocked about the sudden arrival of her daughter but it was too bittersweet for her for she have a hard time accepting Michigan's fate. Michigan was too ecstatic and relief the moment she hugged her mother and later on introduces Vivoree to her.

"You should stay for the night" Mrs. Hailey insist as it was getting late outside.

Michigan seems to agree with her mother's idea and voluntarily tells her to stay on her room.

Vivoree can't do anything but to agree and it was a long walk for her in the dark if she would still continue. She might be one hell of a fighter and got that fierce attitude but her weakness is the dark. Michigan jumps on her bed as soon as she enters like a little kid hugging her polar bear plushie.

"I remember the time I was envy about Jordan's plushie and later on my birthday receive this polar bear from him" Michigan chuckles after her last sentence

"And later on I found out that she beg for this plushie down at Mrs. Bakers store because he don't have the money and he was just a young lad" But she got emotional going back to the past of them that she started to breakdown in front of Vivoree.

She gave her a hug and kills the tough side of Vivoree , realizing how Michigan and Jordan are important to each other. That she once again promises but this time with sincerity that all of she just wished would get to Jordan.

Michigan told her that she was expecting her promises to be fulfilled in the future. Vivoree started kissing her as well as a sign of trust. The two shared some time together and laughed about it after.

Michigan grabs a box and revealed the last tape to Vivoree. She was shocked and in joy for that tape is what the war between Jordan and The President is fighting for.

"I found this at the back of my car wherein the box of King Paul Sr. was putted on"

Michigan told her that she had never watch it because she didn't have a player to play it right now. Vivoree then realize that she have a player with him at her backpack because of a case project on her school.

She rushed for a zip and slides in the last tape which reveals King Paul's gratitude for his family and this surprising revelation.

" Brenda and I witnessed our angel the day he is born. But there is one more who did, it's specifically not a person but the thing that my son always have"

" his panda plushie named Juju, that I realize would be an important thing to do if ever the time comes I'm not around him. I have inserted a mini cam inside the stuffed toy panda's eyes"

Michigan and Vivoree were in complete shocked after hearing the major revelation that they both paused the video and decided not to continue because of the feeling of rush.

"oh my God , this is the answer , Jordan must know this as soon as possible" Vivoree tells her and cuts the mini sleepover.

Vive asked if she can borrow the car but Michigan told her that Jordan would recognize it but she have her father's Harley – davidon street 750 bike at the garage. Vivoree was too excited about how sexy the bike to her eyes. Being addictive to motorbikes is her getaway.

"It's all yours , my father is gone anyways so there is no one who would use it , besides it's super faster than my ride"

Vivoree thanked and hugged her like a real sister of hers.

" One more thing , can you give my plushie polar bear to Jordan?" Vivoree told her that she would need it but Michigan insist.

"Besides.. there's no place like home" Michigan stated with a smile as she leans back to the houses of The Sacred Lives. Vivoree puts the plushie to her backpack and promises her everything that she wants would be granted.

"You wait for him , okay? I'm going to bring you your guy" Vivoree said that makes Michigan smile and nods as she started hitting the road.

Vivoree calls Jordan in the middle of the road and told him to meet her unit but the signal at Jordan's hideout place is low that he puts it on loudspeaker.

"I HAVE THE TAPE! COME QUICKLY!"

Jordan was shocked with the good news and quickly rushes for his black leather jacket and asked Hobs outside the room to be in charge while he is gone.

But Marco doesn't forgive and forget Jordan for what he did to him. Sneaking inside the walls behind the door and intentionally heard the news Vivoree have. He quickly grabs his smartphone and goes for a presidential call.

Maybe Jordan's vision is right after all, in a parallel way.

"Hello Mr. President, this is Marco"

Marco seems to exposed the rest of the group on his terms in exchange of his freedom. He seems to be angry at Hobs and the rest of his mates because they agreed to Jordan instead of fighting for him.

I'm sorry guys but its time for the real drama" Marco tell to himself as he was pretending to be a part of the planned protest.
