When Sage awoke the next morning, she was completely embarrassed by her behaviour the night before. She wanted to crawl back into bed, and never leave. How silly she had been, now her relationship with Cedric and Harper, were surely to change.
Nonetheless, she forced herself out of her dorm, deciding that she'd deal with Cedric first, but her plans were immediately shot down, when she laid eyes on Harper at the bottom of the common room.
About as soon as they made eye contact, they looked away, a blush crawling up on both of their cheeks. "Hi, Sage." Harper smiled at her when she reached the bottom of the staircase. "Hello.." She smiled back, weakly.
"About last night-" They both began at once.
"You first." She told Harper, who nodded. "I just wanted to let you know not to worry. I know last night didn't mean anything, we were just having fun.." He chuckled half-heartedly. "Oh, yes." She sighed in relief. "Yes, that's exactly what I was going to say." Sage immediately regretted her words, as Harpers face dropped. She didn't know why she'd upset him.
Just then, Cedric entered into the common room, spotting the two of them, and immediately exiting outside, into the hallway. "Cedric.." She sighed. "I'll leave you to it." Harper grinned, stepping aside to let her know she was free to chase after Cedric.
"Cedric!" She called when she exited to common room, spotting the boy at the end of the hall, moving at an unusually fast pace. "Cedric, please!" She ran after him, catching up to him at the end of the next hall.
"What." Cedric didn't look at her, he kept his eyes ahead as they walked. "Look, I'm sorry about last night, but why are you upset about it?" She frowned as Cedric shrugged. "Please, talk to me." She sighed, but Cedric just shrugged again.
"Is it because you thought I was replacing you with Harper? Where you jealous because you thought Harper and I were a thing, so you were going to be pushed to the side and we wouldn't be as close anymore?"
"We haven't been close for a while now." Cedric still wouldn't look at her, and his words cut though her like a knife. "Why are you being so blunt? What did I do wrong?" She groaned. "You were with Cho, what difference does it make?"
"I didn't kiss Cho. She didn't have her hands around my neck, or in my hair, or anything." He finally faced her, his face etched with the same level of anger from the night before. "I was being stupid, okay? Is that what you want me to say? I just lost myself for a second. I was having fun, and I'd drunk, and I felt.. I felt.. I don't know? I was just having a good time, Cedric. Is that a crime?" She folded her arms across her chest.
"No. Feel free to go have fun with Harper." He rolled his eyes, walking away. "Fine!" She yelled, but Cedric didn't look back. "Asshole!" She yelled again, and Cedric's hand twitched, though he still didn't look back.

"He took it that badly? Oh-oh." Olive frowned. "And he's not talking to Harper, either." Sage pressed her face into the wooden table. "You're so daft, Sagie." Jill laughed. "What?" Sage looked up. "Isn't it obvious? Cedric has a huge crush on you, and he got super jealous seeing you with Harper."
"Cedric doesn't like me." Sage scoffed, though a small part of her wanted to believe it. "You've gotta be fucking kidding me." Jill scowled at a spot behind them. Sage waited for olive to yell at her, but her eyes were also fixed in the same spot. "What-" Sage turned around, laying eyes on Cedric and Cho, who were sitting together, alone.
"Sage!" Jill growled as Cedric began to turn around. "You can't let him know you've seen him, you can't give him the satisfaction." She scoffed. "What do you-"
