"Wasn't Jesus Middle Eastern?" Sage frowned, and Cedric came to stand beside her. She was looking at the painting 'Adoration of the Magi,' a piece by Domenico Ghirlandaio.
"People often painted him as white back then." Cedric shrugged. "I've seen about a dozen paintings of Jesus and Mary, but in all of them he's portrayed as white." Sage frowned, and they moved on from the painting.
They were visiting Florence, as Amos wanted to see the art galleries there. The gallery which Amos had been most excited for, The Uffizi, was where they were now. "Oh, that's cute." Sage paused in front of another painting of an Angel that was playing a stringed instrument.
"Angel playing the Lute.. By Rosso Fiorentino." She read the label. "He looks like a baby Weasley." Sage laughed. "Let's to go to the Tribune." Cedric led her by the hand into a large, colourful room.
Its tall ceiling was decorated with intricate, details and rich golds. Around the room were sculptures of people, and on the walls were golden, framed paintings with fine sculpting. It was magnificent. "Look at the baby." She wandered over to the side, where a sculpture of a baby was reaching out to the centre of the room.
"It's very detailed." She crouched down, running her index finger across the baby's hands. "Do you think it wants to be with the others?" She waved her hand in front of it's face, in case it came to life at the movement. "What do you mean?" Cedric laughed. "It looks like it's reaching out to the other sculptures." She pointed to the centre of the room.
"You're odd." Cedric chuckled, as Amos entered the room. "Shall we go?" He asked.

"Legend says if you drop one coin into the water then you'll return to the eternal city. Two coins say you'll return to the eternal city and find love, and three coins say you'll return to the eternal city, find love, and marry." Cedric recited the Legend to Sage, who then retrieved three Galleons from her purse.
"I feel Galleons will be luckier than Euros." She laughed, tossing the three coins into the Trevi fountain, which they were visiting. "Because they're magical?" Cedric chuckled at her logic. "Precisely." She sat on the fountains edge.
"I thought it'd be busy." She studied the area, where four or five people mingled. "It's a weekday, and it's late afternoon." Cedric shrugged. "We should go to Verona and see Juliet's balcony." She smiled as Cedric sat beside her. "From the muggle love story?" Cedric laughed. "We learnt about Shakespeare in muggle studies." He frowned. "It's a tragic story."
"I liked it." Said Sage. "I don't want to go back to England." She sighed. "We only have two days." Sage shook her head. "At least we don't have to do O.W.L's this year." Cedric shrugged. "And i'm excited for the Quidditch World Cup."
"Are we really going with Harry Potter and the Weasleys, or was your father exaggerating." Sage laughed. "No, we really are. Your family, too, obviously."
"We should get back to the house." Sage pulled Cedric up with her, and they linked arms on their way back to where they were staying. "This came for you." Amos greeted Cedric with a letter upon entrance, and he took it, reading the envelope.
"Ooh, who's it from." Sage peered over his shoulder nosily, and Cedric quickly tucked it into his pocket, but Sage had already seen. "Cho Chang?" She gaped at him unbelievingly after Amos left the room. "Why is Cho Chang writing to you?"
"Dunno?" He lied, trying to escape from her upstairs, but Sage followed. "You can be friends with her, I don't care, but don't lie about it." She scoffed. "I didn't." He rolled his eyes. "I never said we weren't friends."
"But you neglected to tell me, which is pretty much the same thing." She folded her arms. "You just said you didn't care?" He groaned. "I don't." She stormed into her room. "That's it." She muttered to herself, closing the door to her room so Cedric wouldn't see.
