THE WHITE haired teacher walked with his now alive student down the basement. their footsteps were the only noise that could be heard throughout the whole room.
gojo then broke off the comforting silence, “when it comes to closed-range combat, i think you take the lead, yuji. what you should on now. . .” he held up his pointer finger while lecturing the pinkette, “is the control of your magical power. . . and gaining, at the very least, a minimum level of knowledge about sorcery.”
confused as why the younger was smiling at him while he was talking, he asked, “what's up?”
itadori smiled brightly at him, “nothing, i was thinking that if I'd be receiving training. . . i would like it to be from gojo-sensei, so im happy.” then his happy expression face turned 180°, now being serious.
“i wasn't able to save anyone because i was weak. instead i almost killed fushiguro.” the image of his classmates appeared in his mind. “in my current state, i cant show my face in front of them.”
“i want to become stronger. please teach me to become ‘the strongest’.” gojo grinned hearing those words from his precious student, he crossed his arms agains his chest.
“hehehe. you have a discerning eye.” to which itadori deadpanned, “but you were the one who said you were the strongest, sensei.”
the blindfolded teacher discarded his comment and presented two canned juices. with that he explained the difference of ‘magical power’ and ‘technique’. as itadori still couldn't get it, he compared ‘magical power’ to ‘electricity’ and ‘technique’ to ‘electricalappliances’.
“if theres only ‘electricity’ it wouldnt be very user-friendly, right? that's why we make ‘electricity’ flow into ‘electrical appliances’ to get different results.” he pointed at the can that was hit, “this just had ‘magical power’ thrown at it.” then to the twisted can next to it. “and here, i translated ‘magical power’ into ‘technique’. . . and i twisted it with my sorcery.”
yuji finally got the word and held his pointer finger up, “which means. . . ! im gonna learn some super cool techniques!” he exclaimed.
but gojo broke his fun, “no. you cant use sorcery, yuji.”
