AFTER THE short introduction, the afternoon sorcery training started. with the odd number of students, you were asked to monitor also training you sixth sense. toge was paired up with panda leaving maki and yuuta (with a frustrated sigh from the green haired female).

making a beeline towards yuuta then slapping his back with a smile, encouraging him or that was what you plan to do. yuuta on the other hand has his eyes open wide, surprise at the pain on his back. "do your best, okkotsu-kun!"

"y-yeah. l-let's do our best. . ."

maki stayed silent for a few before opening her lips, "you were bullied weren't you." she stated making the poor boy froze.

"bull's eye, huh. i get it, you know even i was bullied." you kept quiet, slithering your way next to maki, grabing her free arm, still listening to there exchange.

"because of that curse? you put on this face as if to tell people 'im a good person.' makes me feel sick. why are you pretending to be a victim. . . even though that curse is protecting you?"

you muttered her name, trying to stop her but she only ignored you. letting her arm go, you crossed your arms against your chest.

'there she goes again. . .' you thought, sighing.

"you've always just lived life listlessly, haven't you. don't go thinking you can make it through the magic technical school. . . without a goal in mind."

puffing your cheeks, you immediately squished maki's cheeks stoppung her from talking. "okaaay, stop."

"maki, that's enough!" exclaimed panda, placing his palm on yuuta's shoulder. "katsuobushi!" toge also scolded.

"alwight, alwight. stahp pinching ma chiks." finally letting her now red cheeks, you went back to the overwhelmed yuuta.

"sorry 'bout that. she thinks she's good at reading other people." panda apologized.

with a soft chuckled you agreed,"yeah, she's not really in a good mood today."
