六 ▍training

YOU ALL decided to take a break after a tiring training consisting of nobara being thrown away by panda with toge catching her, and megumi being hit by you and maki. nobara left rambling that she will buy some cute jersey and not wear a bothersome boy's uniform.

you sat beside inumaki at the concrete stairs, holding your knees close to you. you were clad in your usual training clothes, a [color] hoody, black pants, and white shoes.

maki and megumi were talking about cursed tools so you decided to listen.

"how to carry a cursed tool, huh. i agree with fighting face to face with a weapon but. . . i dont want my hands full when it comes to techniques." the ravenette first year then turned his head to you and maki, "zenin-senpai, you usually carry around more than two, right? you too [name]-senpai, i see that you sometimes carry cursed tools. what do you do with them?" he asked for reference.

"i make panda hold them." answered maki while pointing at panda who flexed his arms.

'i shouldn't have asked.' megumi then turned to you as if waiting for you to answer.

you smiled sheepishly and tilted you head, butterflies appearing around you, closing your eyes you answered, "i make them carry my weapon." tilting you head from side to side.

"but why arent they rarely seen?" he asked again curiously. "i masked their appearance with my talisman." you replied while looking at the butterflies disappearing again to who knows where.

"there are also some shamans who keep cursed spirits that can gake objects in and out." you noded at panda's statement.

"they're also very rare. i once tried that, but it was harder to tame than said. so i gave it back to its owner." whispering that last part to yourself.

"where was it now?" asked maki, you just shrugged your shoulders in reply. "if you can find one of those spirits, teach me would ya." "one year's worth of calpas." you laughed at maki and panda's exchange of words.

you turned to toge who was quiet this whole time, "toge, you okay?" he nodded his head and muttered, "salmon."

you scooted closer to him as he suddenly laid his head on you lap. smilling, you combed his off-white hair with your fingers.

the both of you watched as megumi held his hand on the concert stair. as if it was liquid, his hand submerged.

toge sat up and pointed his finger at megumi, "tuna tuna." maki turned to him, "huh? what do you want?"

megumi smiled at himself and called for his senpai, "senpai, i think ill be able to manage somehow."
