you were confused on why was mahito ignoring you, but you need to focus on protecting junpei. the poor boy was biting his lip and shivering in fear as he was suppose to die on that very moment. he was hugging himself for comfort.
"junpei." you called out making him look up at you. "i need to help yuji-kun, stay here-" you paused as he frantically shook his head.
"please dont leave me, kocho-san please dont. . ." his voice cracked, you didnt know what to do but yuji is in trouble.
you smiled softly at him while caressing his face, "dont worry, i wont leave you. now, sleep. . ." poking his forehead with two of your fingers, his vision darkens.
"protect junpei, if a cursed spirit manage to come here, you know what to do." as butterflies flutter around the now asleep boy.

mahito mutated his hand into a drill like structure then attacked itadori with it. the pinkette dodged and grabbed the end of the mutated hand, 'there's no way its gonna keep growing forever!'
mahito then smirked making his eyes widen as thorns sprouted from the mutated hand itadori was holding, piercing holes through his palms. yet he didnt faltered, he clenched his hands and pulled mahito making him crash down the building. "usually, people would take their hands off me." mahito spoke, smiling nonchalantly. 'if i make my shape too big, its maneuver ability and power go down.'
itadori's face darkens as he attacked the human-like curse with a punch only to be pierce again by spikes.
"you cant win against me, you know. swap already. . . " he then held his palm against itadori's chest. "with sukuna."
