Pokemon: Adventures of FireRed

Chapter 1

Johto, Mount Silver

On top of Mount Silver, Two trainer were found facing each others on a fierce pokemon battle that destroying everything around their surroundings. 10 fainted Pokemon filled the mountain field with bruises, burn marks, bite marks, claw marks, and other damaging wounds surroundings their entire body.

On the right side of the mountain, a pale brown haired trainer holding his red and white cap in place, prevent the cap from being blown by the cold wind. His gray eyes scanning the battle in front of him with calculations. His red sleeveless jacket with a white collar and stripe, black undershirt were covered in snow, from standing for a long time period on top of this snowy mountain. His yellow backpack and baggy blue jeans were slowly losing their color after being used for 3 years for living alone in the mountain. His feet were covered with black, red and white running shoes which do little to nothing in keeping his feets warm from the cold atmosphere.

The Brunet were standing alongside his loyal Charizard who wears many bruises and cuts along it's large body. The Lizard wings was torn in many areas, and seems no longer fit to fly. The fire in its tail has dimmed and sooner or later would eventually began to extinguish.

On the left side of the mountain, a short young boy with fair skin and black hair were kneeling while wrapping his arms protectively around his still barely conscious Typhlosion shoulders. His grey eyes was shoned with worries, as he examined his Pokemon body. The fire badger pokemon body were covered in Burn marks, Claw Marks and Bruises. Slowly but surely the mane of spiky flames around its neck began to shrinking in size.

The raven haired boy turned his attention from his damaged pokemon to the trainer in front of him. Their eyes meet and for a moments they're just staring at each others in silence with only the sound of the cold wind blowing around them.

The silence atmosphere was interrupted when a loud roar was heard before a sounds of something falling into the ground with a heavy thump filled their ears. The two trainers turned their attention towards the noise to revealing Red's Charizard lying unconscious on it's stomach.

The raven haired boy staring in shock at the fire lizard before his lips slowly curled into a smile. He shifted his gaze back into his Typhlosion and hugged the badger pokemon tightly, who looks surprise for a second but quickly reciprocated the gesture of affection from its trainer.

"We won....I can't believe it...we won" The boy whispered while buried his face deep into the fire badger furry face. Typhlosion grunted in agreement before nuzzling it's face lovingly through the crook of it's trainer neck.

Across the raven haired boy, his opponent was currently kneeling down beside his pokemon and cradling the knockout out fire lizard in his hands with lone tears falling down through his face.

Soon tears began to flow freely through his face and fell onto the fire lizard unconscious body. Why...? How...?, That's the only question that currently invading his mind.

Many people told him that he was the best, the unbeatable, the greatest trainer of all time, the legend, the pokemon masters RED. However, it all came crashing down when this young boy, who claimed to come from Newbark Town, a small town in the Johto region, has defeated all of his pokemon who has been trained fiercely by himself for 3 whole years on top of this freezing mountain. This is the first ever defeat that he have suffered in his entire career as a pokemon trainer and a pokemon champion. His rival, Team Rocket, The Kanto Gym leaders, Giovanni, Elite four, he have successfully defeated them all, except for this boy.

He was beaten by someone who had it all, a happy family, friends, and motivation while he has none. Green and him was really close back when they were still a kid, everything change when Green were introduced to the pokemon world by his grandfather. That orange haired boy has somehow becomes a narcissistic asshole who is really arrogant and always considering himself to be more superior than everyone, especially him.

The brunet relationship with professor Oak on the other hand is much more complicated than his relationship with his grandson. Their relationship is always based on business, and not an actual friendship. The professor provides him with starter pokemon and pokedex to go on his journey through the kanto, while in return he do the professor a favor by collecting the pokemon data for him and helping him on his research.

The only person who he always considering as a friend is his own mother. His father has selfishly left them for his pokemon journey before he even born and yet his mother still love him with all of her heart. He feels extremely guilty when he have to leave his mother alone for training in mount silver, and up until now he still afraid to even sending a mail towards her to ask about her condition or to informing her that he was still alive on top of this mountain.

His Pokemon also still and always loyal up until now towards him. They have accompanied him for a long time, guiding him, and helping him to becoming a better trainer. The only reason of why he feels devastated for his lose in the first place is not because he was afraid of losing his tittle as the kanto pokemon champion, it's because Seeing all of his pokemon lying lifelessly in front of him has breaking his hearts into a million pieces. Witnessing their current conditions, He wasn't even sure wether they're still alive or not. Even if they're still alive, he didn't know if they still put their trust in him as their trainer.

His cold grey eyes shifted from his fallen pokemon and landed on the raven haired boy in front of him. Ethan is his name and the brunet could tell from the outside that the young boy has a more closer bond with his pokemon than him, that's the only logical explanation of why he lose against this trainer.

Ethan has take the last thing that mattered in the former champion life. Not his status, Not his achievements, Not his moneys, but his pride as a pokemon trainer. After becoming a pokemon trainer, he has becomes a fighting machine that learned only to fight, win and nothing more. To put it bluntly, after being defeated by Ethan, the brunet currently possessed no soul, no purpose or even passion like he once had in his youth.

This anxious and irritating feeling of inferiority towards the raven haired boy has swelling up inside of him and was about to burst out any time soon until something snapped inside his mind. He quickly standing and started walking backward, while at the same time still staring at Ethan. The raven haired boy separated from his pokemon and looked at the direction towards Red. The Young raven instantly widening his eyes in horror as he saw what Red would about to do.

"Don't do it!" Ethan yelled out as he ran as fast as he can towards Red direction, intent to preventing the brunet from falling towards his doom.

Although The raven haired boy efforts was in vain as Red took one last step as he plunged down towards the rocky steep of Mt. Silver. He looks up and sees Ethan has his arms stretch out desperately to save him, but it's already too late. He already know what's about to happen towards him and he accepts it. As the ground neared, He has closing his eyes and waiting for his unavoidable demise to come.
