Max's POV:
"Max we need to talk" here we go

"Ok" I say

"Look I know this is weird but I care about you like more then I have cared about someone in a long time and I think about you a lot. And to be honest after last night I feel like you might feel the same but idk. Umm all I'm trying to say is Max will you be my girlfriend?" What well I wasn't expecting that.

I smile at him being all shy who knew the Corbyn Matthew Besson mafia leader could be shy. "Of course Corbyn" I say and he signs in relief smile at me he then leans in and kiss me this time it was filled with passion.

He pulls away smiles turning the car back on and starts driving home. He grabs my hand and we just sit in comfortable silence.

When we got home Corbyn went downstairs to sort out some "business" whatever that means and honestly I really don't wanna know.

"Hey Max" I hear Zach say from behind me

"Hey" I reply

"I got put on babysitting duty today, so what do you wanna do?" He says

"Zach I don't need a babysitter"

"Well according to Corbyn you do" why is he so stubborn

"You know I'm not gonna escape right"

"I know but we don't want anything to happen to you, Max your parents are bad they've screwed over many people and your a one way ticket to them" he sounded serious

"So people wanna kidnap me"

"Yeah and trust me their not as good looking as us" I just laughed at him "why are you laughing at me it's true" He added

"Yeah maybe" I giggled "hey Zach can I ask you something"

"Sure"

"How long have you known Corbyn"

"About 7 years, Jack and I have known each other since birth our parents were best friends and we met Corbyn, Jonah and Daniel at school they were all friends before we all started hanging out until umm until"

"Until what Zach until what" what's he so scared to say

"Yo-your parents killed mine and J-Jacks family's while we were at a party when we were 15, that's when Corbyn took us in and we became this" my parents killed their families, they killed Jacks, Zachs, Corbyn's and Ally's families their monsters

"Max are you okay"

"Zach my parents are mass murderers, mass fucking murderers, I was raised by monsters what does that make me" I cried

"Max your nothing like them"

"But what if I am"

"Your not" Corbyn says coming up from behind me "your parents are cold blooded killers, M you've never laid a finger on a person, your nothing like them" hearing him say that just made me cry even more

He pulls me in for a hug and cry in his arms "I just feel so out of place everything has changed and I feel like I've been lied to my whole life and everything I know is just a big lie"

"Max we are here for you, we all are" Zach says

"Yeah nothing's gonna happen to you and we not leaving anytime soon even if we wanted to" Jack added as all the boys come into the room

"Thanks guys" I say pulling them all into a group hug. This feels right, these people feel like my family
