It was just a typical sunny morning.

The sun was up, the clouds were afloat, the wind was blowing gently, the people coming and going.

The place was filled with busy people. Watching the adults made the child's head feel dizzy. She can hear them frantically scream. Seeing them scram here and there made her feel even more exhausted than she already was, which is why she ran at the side towards the large windows that stretched from the floor to the ceiling. Placing her hand at the glass, she watched the scenery outside.

The large airplane she was in just an hour ago is now being fixed by those people in blue coats that says "Maintenance" at the back. The firetruck's bell has stopped roaring. The airplane's engine wasn't ablaze anymore, though smoke was still coming out of it.

She heaved out a sigh, causing a small fog to form at the glass.

She had been searching for her family for almost 20 minutes now. When they went out of the airplane, the staff did their best to calm the passengers and made sure to peacefully lead them out, but when the engine made another "boom" sound, people started panicking again. Because of the commotion, she was separated from her father's grasp.

The small child was able to safely reach the area where the passengers were told to go. For the next few minutes, she tried looking for her family but she failed to spot them. Now here she is, by the glass window, waiting for her family to find her.

She's starting to lose hope and feels like crying.

Many thoughts started to invade the young kid's mind such as the possibility of not coming back to her family ever again. Up until now, she tried her best to be strong and brave, just like what her father taught her. However, she was only seven years old, in an unfamiliar place and with a lot of strangers around her. How can a mere child be able to find her parents in this sea of people?

"Hey."

Startled by the sudden approach, she looked on the side to see a young boy around her age looking at her innocently with a lollipop on his mouth. They stared into each other's eyes for a few more seconds before the young boy broke the silence between them.

"Are you okay?" he asked, taking out the lollipop from his lips. "Why are you crying?"

She faced the windows again, her face heating up because of embarrassment. She did not know that tears were already pouring out of her eyes. She wiped them with the sleeves of her jacket before facing him again.

He pulled out another lollipop from his pocket and offered it to her. "Would you like some?"

The child hesitated, is it okay to have it?

"I have 3 more. Here, have this. This can cheer you up."

Cute, she thought. She smiled before receiving the lollipop, causing him to smile back in return. "Are you okay now?"

"Yah, we found him!" another young boy appeared behind him, running towards their direction. "Sehun's family is safe, the airplane is also being managed now. Let's go!"

The young boy waved at her and smiled, faced behind, then started running after the other boy. "Kris hyung, wait up!"

But then the boy halted and faced her again.

"I didn't catch your name," he shyly chuckled.

"Oh!" her mouth formed an "O" in realization. "I.. I am Song--"

"Yah! Come on!" the boy named Kris shouted, cutting her off.

The child frowned. He sighed before saying, "If it's meant to be, we'll meet each other again." He waved farewell one last time. "'Till we meet again soon. Bye!"

She smiled and waved back. Watching him run towards the other until his back cannot be seen anymore, she wondered if she'll really be able to meet the boy again. He does not know that his approach meant a lot to her. A smile crept upon her face as she looked at the lollipop in her hands that was given by him.

"I hope to see you soon too," she whispered.

Not even a minute later, she can hear her name being called from afar. Her eyes roamed around to search for the people looking for her. Unfamiliar faces of the security team emerged from the sea of people. They were calling her name but since she did not know them, she's unsure whether to tell them that she is who they're looking for.

Just then, she saw her mother next to them, shouting her name as well.

"Mother!"

Her mom gasped loudly upon hearing the voice of her lost child calling out to her. Seeing the small body of her young daughter running towards her with a beaming smile, her knees gave out as she cried happy tears, welcoming her in her warm arms.

Finally, the child was reunited with her family.

Being carried in her mother's arms -her sister in his father's arms too- the family then went on to go to their home in South Korea. With one last glance at the airport before she was placed inside the car, she raised her lollipop and whispered;

"See you soon again, kid."

So, who do you think is that kid?
