Strawberry Haired (HQ x Mitsuri! OC)

I. A Not So Strange Day

"I heard that there will be a new transfer"

"I heard so too!"

"Maaan, I hope they will be a pretty girl"

"I hope they will be a handsome guy"

Such hushed whispers will be heard throughout the classroom filled with bored and some anticipating students while the teacher walked in to his table in front of the students who immediately silenced themselves when they saw his presence.

"Good morning class", he calmly greeted followed by One student that led his fellow classmates to greet and bow.

"So I'm sure you have already heard that there will be a new transfer student in the middle of the semester, so without further ado", the teacher gestured his hand to the direction of the door.

"You may now come in Kanroji-san", The door slid open as a girl came in and walked to the side of their teacher. When the teacher saw her beside him he gestured to his students then to the girl.

"This is miss Kanroji Mitsuri, now please introduce yourself Kanroji-san", the girl nodded and faced her classmates and hopefully, future friends.

"Good morning everyone! I'm Mitsuri Kanroji, 17 years old, I love to eat sakura mochi and do kendo, I hope to get along with everyone and be friends! Please take care of me!", the girl, now named Mitsuri introduced her self cheerfully, hoping that no one dislikes her.

Mitsuri is a fair skinned girl with big and round light green eyes and two small moles beneath each eye on her cheeks that seemed to have a permanent faint shy blush, her hair is braided in 3 thick sections and she is no doubt a pretty and cute girl.

Now, hearing her finish her introduction, the teacher pointed her to her seat which is behind the class beside the window (she's a main character, gotta keep the tradition haha) and started his lesson for the day.

The bell rang, signalling the end of their lesson and the start of the very much long awaited lunch break.

"So Kanroji-san, what school are you from?", asked a girl sitting in front of her which startled the pinkette from her daydreaming about food and most likely sakura mochi.

"Ah, I'm sorry, I'm not from any school because I'm home schooled" answered Mitsuri with a little fidgeting.

"Ah, I see, well my name is Hayako Mitarashi, pleased to meet you!", the girl now named Hanako introduced herself with a wide grin, "Since you're new and all, how about I go with you to the canteen and tour you while we're at it, not bad right?", suggested Hayako to Mitsuri with an extended hand.

"I'm also pleased to meet you, and I'm sorry I can't go with you since my cousin's gonna fetch me and have lunch with him today", Mitsuri apologetically said while gushing mentally how cute and thoughtful Hayako is.

"Ah I see, well I won't be keeping you and I think your cousin's already here", Hayako who looked a bit disappointed said to Mitsuri who is very sorry and excitedly looking at the door where she saw her gentle giant of a cousin.

"I see him, I see him!", exclaimed Mitsuri who looked like she's about to start jumping excitedly, but then looks at Hayako, "I hope we will be able to have lunch together tomorrow!", she suggested to Hayako who looked a little surprised at her sudden outburst and smiled, "Yes, I think we will surely be able to have lunch tomorrow".

Mitsuri, satisfied with Hayako's response then bid her goodbye and went to her cousin who is standing just in front of her classroom's door, "Hey nii-san, I'm sorry if I kept you waiting", Mitsuri greeted her older cousin who she affectionately calls her brother.

"Hey Mitsuri, I'm glad to see you're all right and you seem happy", Asahi greeted her back and they started their walk to the canteen.

"I'm very happy indeed, because I think I have a new friend and no one seems to hate me!", Mitsuri tells her cousin.

Mitsuri is home schooled so she doesn't know how people will react to her, making her a bit insecure which her cousin knew since he knows her very well.

"I'm glad you're happy Mitsuri, and we will have lunch with my friends and some of my team mates", Asahi told her while Mitsuri immediately thinks about the prospect of making new friends and gushing about her cousins kindness.

"Team mates?", Mitsuri asked, thinking how good this is gonna be since she is meeting her cousins friends and team mates, she hopes to get along and also befriend them!

"Yes, team mates, I hope you're alright having lunch with them", Asahi tells his cousin how rowdy they can be. Mitsuri looks at her cousin and thinks how thoughtful he is, and how interesting her cousin's friends are, she's very excited to meet them!

"Of course nii-san! Your friends are my friends too! I'm very excited to meet them", Mitsuri exclaims to her cousin as Asahi smiles at his cousin's enthusiasm to meet his friends.

"If you say so, and here we are Mitsuri", Asahi said to his cousin who looked left and right upon entering the canteen. Mitsuri can't believe how caught up she was at thinking about the prospects of new friends that she didn't notice the amazing smell of food in the canteen! How could she!

Asahi looked at his cousin and immediately knew what she was thinking and shakes his head in a bit of exasperation knowing how much of a big glutton his cousin is.
