II. Asahi's Not So Strange Cousin

Asahi and Mitsuri arrived at the canteen with Mitsuri looking around excitedly as she just found out that she's very hungry, making Asahi chuckle at the sight.

"Now, now Mitsuri I'm sure we'll be able to eat soon, you don't need to look so anxious", teased Asahi to his now flushed cousin who looked like she's about to explode with her redness.

"No need to tease me like that nii-san!" Mitsuri whispered quite loudly to her now laughing cousin, 'but I'm happy to be with my cousin now! And I'm about to eat delicious food and most importantly meet nii-san's friends!', Mitsuri thought trying to cheer herself up which is very effective in diminishing her embarrassment .

"Gomen, gomen, Mitsuri I just can't help it haha", Asahi said while sheepishly scratching the back of his neck.

They both went in line and bought food then started looking for Asahi's team mates. Mitsuri's anxiety then started to creep in 'what if they don't like me? What if they think I'm fat? What i-', Mitsuri was deep in her rather dark thoughts when a yell thankfully cut her off.

"ASAHII! we've been waiting for you! What took you so long?", a rather short guy about her age she thinks yelled at her cousin, making her cousin smile and walk to their direction with her following closely behind.

'Is that one of my cousin's team mates?! Oh gosh, I think I'm not ready yet! But my cousin's with me and they're my cousin's friends, I think I'll be fine', Mitsuri thought while shielding herself with her cousin's large frame by walking closely behind him.

Asahi then walked in the direction of a group of boys who looked curiously at her and her giving them a shy closed eyed smile which they returned.

"Well, I went to fetch my cousin from her classroom to have lunch with us", Asahi explained to the guy who shouted at him earlier who Mitsuri noticed is a pretty short guy with an interesting hair coloring.

"What?! You have a cousin here?! Why didn't you say so?! Why didn't you introduce them to me?!", The guy yelled to Asahi who stepped aside to present me to his team mates who were quietly watching us while a few ignored us.

"Well, everyone this is my cousin, Mitsuri Kanroji", Asahi introduced her, and Mitsuri who suddenly found herself like a deer in the spotlight blushed shyly at the attention and introduced herself while trying to keep her squealing at bay.

"Hi, I'm Mitsuri Kanroji, you can call me Mitsuri if you want, I'm 17 and I'm pleased to meet you!", Mitsuri introduced herself while trying to keep her blush because all of the people seated at the table are guys and it doesn't help that all of them are cute.

There was a bit of silence, when Mitsuri was about to think that she did something wrong when suddenly someone or rather two guys was in front of her, looking at her with sparkling eyes.

"A GODDESS! A GODDESS HAS DESCENDED!", Yelled the bald guy that was sparkling in front of her while wiping his tears and making her blush at the complement since she doesn't get complemented that much.

"YES! WE HAVE ANOTHER GODDESS! WITH KIYOKO-SAN! WE NOW HAVE TWO GODDESSES!", yelled the short one earlier now crying and hugging the bald guy.

"WE ARE BLESSED!", they both say in unison, making Mitsuri blush and hide behind her cousin thinking how kind the two were, when suddenly a guy with short clack hair smack them in the head hard and dragging them back to their seats with a dark smile.

"I'm sorry for these two's behavior, they always behave like kids", a guy with gray hair and beauty mole stood up and apologized to Mitsuri who blushed and said it was fine.

"I'm really sorry for them, and my name is Sugawara Koshi, I'm a third year and I'm also pleased to meet you!" The gray haired man now named Sugawara smiled to her while extending a hand at Mitsuri.

"I'm also pleased to meet you Sugawara-senpai", Mitsuri greeted back smiling widely thinking how cute and kind Sugawara is while shaking his extended hank with both of her hands. Sugawara blushed a little at the contact but no one noticed.

"The one who smacked the head of the two is Sawamura Daichi, he's a third year also and the captain of our club while I'm the vice captain", Sugawara introduced while Daichi looked at her and smiled. "It's nice to meet you Mitsuri-san", Mitsuri blushed and nodded saying the same and gushing mentally how responsible Daichi-san was.

"The bald one is Tanaka Ryunosuke while the other one is Nishinoya yuu, both of them are second years just like you, Tanaka here is a wing spiker while Nishinoya is a Libero, is it alright to assume that you know volleyball and it's rules and positions?" Sugawara asked worried slightly that Mitsuri doesn't know volleyball.

"It's fine Sugawara-senpai my cousin here is a volleyball player so it makes sense that I should know it also so I could support him as much as I can right?" Mitsuri explains thinking how kind and thoughtful Sugawara is.

"IT'S NICE TO MEET YOU GODDESS!" Tanaka and Nishinoya shouted at the same time making Mitsuri blush and gush mentally how cute the two are.

"It's also nice to meet you Nishinoya-san Tanaka-san!" Mitsuri says smiling at them and then giggling at her self, she can't stop thinking how cute and adorable they are.

"A GODDESS SMILED AT ME! A GODDESS SMILED AT ME!! I CAN FINALLY DIE!" Tanaka and Nishinoya said in sync making Mitsuri giggle again at how adorable they are being.

"I guess we should now start eating before we ran out of time", Daichi said making Mitsuri perk up and take her food beside her cousin, eating the lot of food she bought and making everyone except Asahi almost choke when they saw her taking out a big bento box after eating the massive lot of food on her tray.

Ah, a nice day indeed.
