III. Peeking

Mitsuri was walking down the halls merrily with a jump to her steps, when she suddenly froze.

'Where am I?!', Mitsuri thought to herself making her panic slightly, and look around herself. She found herself in a hallway with a door at the end of it where loud noises of shouting and the sound of balls smacking to the ground come from. (No matter how much I thought about it this sounds so wrong LMAOOO)

So Mitsuri being Mitsuri can't help but take a peek where this sounds came from and ask for directions while she's at it.

'I wonder what club is making this sounds, they must be strong!', Mitsuri thought to herself slowly walking to the door to take a peek.

This is how Mitsuri came to this situation.

After the choking scene in the canteen, Asahi then accompanied his cousin to her classroom, laughing at the scene of his friends nearly choking with their food while teasing his cousin a little on how she shocked his friends with her eating habits making Mitsuri blush in embarrassment, since she only eats like that in front of others when a person close to her is with her making her feel safe and free.

"Mou, you always tease me nii-san", Mitsuri said pouting and pretending to be angry since she can never be really angry to her beloved cousin. Mitsuri then came in to her classroom bidding her cousin a pouty farewell making the said cousin chuckle at her antics.

"How's your lunch Mitsuri? Met any cute guy hmm?", inquired Hayako playfully to Mitsuri who's mood immediately did a 180 degree after hearing Hayako talk to her, 'It's Hayako-chan! She's talking to me! How friendly!', Mitsuri gushed happily to her mind.

"Hi Hayako! I met my cousin's team mates and friends! And they're all so cute!", Mitsuri exclaims with a blush dusting her cheeks, making Hayako chuckle at her. (Everyone is chuckling at her!)

"Oohh, am I gonna hear more about this soon?", Hayako teased while wiggling her brows making Mitsuri blush as she thought how good looking her cousin's friends are.

"Mou, stop it", Mitsuri found herself saying such phrase so many times today. Hayako laughs at her and sat properly to her seat as the teacher went back to their classroom to start yet another lesson.

The class ended and Hayako asked Mitsuri if she want to go home with her, which Mitsuri denied yet again because of her cousin, making her feel bad and worried about her and Hayako's budding friendship.

"It's fine Mitsuri, I understand your cousin, I mean with how pretty you are I bet he wanna protect you, right?", Hayako teases Mitsuri yet again, making the poor girl blush red and gush mentally on how thoughtful and such a good friend Hayako is.

"So I'm gonna go first! See you tomorrow Mitsuri!", Hayako bids Mitsuri goodbye with a big grin.

"Goodbye Hayako! Be careful on your way and see you tomorrow!", Mitsuri bids her new friend farewell waving her hand.

'Hayako is so pretty and thoughtful! She's also very kind! I'm so happy that she became my friend!', Mitsuri squeals to herself blushing while waiting for her cousin.

'Why is he taking so long? Did something happen?', Mitsuri worriedly thought to herself when her phone suddenly rang inside her bag.

'Oh, he won't be able to come get me, but there's no one here already, I guess I just have to look for him myself', Mitsuri dejectedly thought to herself while getting her bag and coming out of her classroom.

Which brings us to Mitsuri awkwardly peeking to the gym and being discovered by a teacher with short black hair and glasses.

"Uhhmm, what are you doing miss? Class already ended and you should be heading home", the teacher asked Mitsuri who was peeking at the gym thinking if this girl is related to one of the players but immediately rules out the thought since she doesn't really look like them.

"I-I was just curious about the loud noises sensei and just want to ask for directions", Mitsuri told the sensei and blushing like a tomato on how embarrassing this is.

"I see, then why don't you come in with me?", the teacher asked kindly with a smile making Mitsuri praise again in her mind how kind this teacher is.

Mitsuri agreed thinking that this sensei is too kind to not be followed and she got nothing to lose anyway.

"My name is Ittetsu Takeda, you can call me Takeda-sensei, and this is the gym for the volleyball club", the teacher now named Takeda-sensei introduced to Mitsuri who looked surprised to know what club uses this gym which is not really that surprising considering that this is where the sounds came from.

"My name is Mitsuri Kanroji, sensei! And I have a cousin in the volleyball club, his name is Asahi Azumane!" Mitsuri greeted the teacher and cheerfully introduced herself momentarily forgetting her embarrassment earlier.

"Oh, Asahi was it? He's indeed a member of this club", Takeda-sensei says and opened the door of the club making Mitsuri gasped at the sight of her cousin spiking the ball hard upon seeing the inside of the gym.

'My cousin looks so strong and manly!', Mitsuri gushes yet again to her mind.

"Asahi! Your cousin's here!", Takeda-sensei shouted to Asahi making all the people in the gym look at them and thus making Mitsuri blush again at the attention gushing mentally about how hardworking everyone in the gym were.

"Mitsuri! What are you doing here?", Asahi immediately asked when he got near her and then apologizing on how he ditched her.

"I was wandering around nii-san, when I suddenly heard loud noises coming from here making me curios and Takeda-sensei saw me! Your spike was amazing!", Mitsuri exclaims to her cousin who blushed at the compliment giving her a smile.

"Well, Mitsur-", Asahi was cut off by an orange haired boy who suddenly appeared in front of her.

"HELLO! MY NAME IS HINATA SHOYO, FIRST YEAR! YOU MUST BE ASAHI-SENPAI'S COUSIN!", the orange haired boy now named Hinata introduced while flashing her a big, bright, smile.

A/N: I just realized how long and slow this is oof, please bear with me huhuhu I think this will be more interesting in the next chapter ehehe I'm limiting every chapter to be 900 to 1000 words hehe
