I am back with another update. Really sorry but the chapter is not edited. Hope you enjoy reading this crap.
It's been a few days since that mortifying incident. After Surgio and Dexter decided that we should watch a movie, we went upstairs. Turns out there was some problem with the giant T.V. so that plan flew right out the window. It was a relief though seeing that the events had tired me out. My ankle was still sore and I couldn't walk properly but it was healing nonetheless. Thanks to Leo and Surgio for icing it all the time and I couldn't be happier when they offered me painkillers for the ankle. It literally helped the bruises and other injuries a lot.
I didn't see much of Xavier and Xander cause I hardly went down and according to them, I didn't have a reason to at all, since breakfast, lunch, and dinner and all the other things I needed were brought up by my brothers or some times by the maids. Honestly, the treatment was good, seeing that they were being cautious and mind I say too much cautious with my injury, but it was getting on my nerves. I spent most of my time, constantly sitting and goofing around in my room and doing nothing in short I spent the last few days sitting idle. It bugged me a lot I was so used to doing all the chores and not sparing time for myself back with my old life that the sudden change in the schedule and activities left me to fend with boredom.
Aless paid me a visit every morning to check on me before going to work asking if I needed anything, to which I politely refused. Honestly, for some reason, I thought they worried too much. All my life I grew to look after myself so the non-stop attention and pampering was giving me a headache. But I was sure about one thing the other bruise was still bugging them because whenever one of them would ice my leg their eyes would involuntarily shift to the upper one and they would tense. It made me uncomfortable seeing that they knew something was wrong.
It was three in the afternoon and I was just sitting in my room tracing patterns on the soft blanket that was draped over me. Sighing I closed my eyes, resting my head on the headboard. I missed painting but I was too afraid to ask my brothers, so I just sat in my room quietly thinking about other important matters in my life. Like the funeral. My mother's death.
The door to my room busted open and I was so caught up in my thoughts that the sudden noise had made me jump slightly on my bed.
"Howdy little one" Dexter grinned entering the room. His dirty blonde hair was messed up as he had just woken up. He sat on the edge of the bed stretching his arms behind his back.
"And what brings you to my humble room" I smiled raising an eyebrow at him.
"We promised you we would watch a movie and the T.V has been repaired so let's go". He didn't wait for my answer just threw the covers that were on top of me to the side of the room gently pulling my arm. I held back the groan and slightly pouted at the loss of contact with my soft and warm bed.
"What are we watching," I asked Dexter after we all got comfortable on the fluffy couch with a blanket on top of us. The topic of my bruise was just left hanging in the air until I decide when I would approach one of them and tell them the truth, which according to me was not happening any time soon.
Believe it or not, they had their own improvised game room which was now turned into a movie theatre. It was on the other part of the house the one I was yet to discover hence I had no idea that there was a game room.
"The Golden Compass" Dexter replied with a wink and huge grin on his face while he surfed through the huge TV. I still couldn't get used to the fact that my brothers were extremely rich and it surprised me every time.
"I cannot believe you never watched that film, Xander was obsessed with the bear when he was young.....what's his name again?" Sergio wondered as he came in with a handful of snacks, placing them on the bean bag and taking a seat beside me.
