Third Pov

For their next assignment, the gang arrived at this nearly abandoned juvenile detention center. Where they were tasked to rescue any survivors that were unexpectedly trapped inside.

Ichiji:"Alright, from were informed Detainee block 2 at present has five detainees remain there with the curse womb. Now if this is the type of curse womb that metamorphosis, we predict it will become a special grade cursed spirit"

Nobara&Megumi:"Special-grade..."

Yuji:"Hey, so...I don't really understand what 'special grade' means"

Nobara and Megumi couldn't help but sigh at Yuji's ignorance. (Y/n) however didn't as even she lacked the knowledge of what a special-grade was.

Ichiji:"To put it simply, let's say you would be on equal footing if you carpet bomb it with cluster bombs"

Yuji:"T-That's real bad"

(Y/n):" Yeah that does sound like a tough opponent to beat"

Megumi:"Normally a jujutsu sorcerer on par with the cursed spirit would take on the mission. On a day like today, that would be Gojo-sensei"

Yuji:"So where is Gojo-sensei?"

Megumi:"Away on business. He's not someone who should be loafing around at the school in the first place"

(Y/n):"While I agree c..can't there atleast be one upperclassman traveling with us?"

Ichiji:"Unfortunately, we're constantly short handed in this business. You'll often have to undertake missions beyond your power. The current case, however, is an abnormal one, and most urgent. If you encounter a special grade, your only option is to run or die"

Hearing that made all of their eyes widen. This spirit was that powerful enough to where those are the only options. With that information, (y/n) had made a decision in her head.

(Y/n):"I..If that's the case, then why not just send only me instead"

Megumi:"What!? Are you crazy?!"

(Y/n):"I'm serious! My body is a lot tougher than you guys a-and with this way..."

Ichiji:"I'm afraid I can't allow that. While you are half-demon, there is still so much punishment even you can take. Especially since you can't go into your demon form"

(Y/n):"I know but still—!"

Nobara:"*glare* Hey are you trying to say we're weak or something? Is that why your pulling this whole self sacrifice crap"

(Y/n):"No! T..That's not it at all..I just...don't want to lose you guys"

Feeling the tension his sister had, Yuji decided to calm her down with a slight flick to her forehead.

(Y/n):"Ow! Yuji what the hell!?"

Yuji:"Fushiguro is right (y/n), your insane if you think we're letting you go in there alone"

(Y/n) was about to retaliate, but couldn't find herself able to. With nothing else to say, she followed them inside the center. As they entered they found that the inside was a lot bigger compared to the outside.
