{Chapter 11}

Third Pov

(Quick A/n, sorry if this chapter is worded weird I kinda forgot what I originally wanted to write in the middle of writing😅 Also the Sukuna and Mahito little talk will actually be in the next chapter, other than that please enjoy the story.)

(Y/n) didn't want to believe anything he said. Though she knew Nanami wasn't the type to make jokes, she still didn't want to think what he was saying about Junpei and his mom were true. I mean it hasn't even been that long since they were at his house.

(Y/n):"T..That can't be true, is it?"

Nanami:"I'm afraid it is. After the incident at Satozakura High School, we discovered the corpse of Yoshino Nagi, Junpei's mother, at their home. We believe she was attacked by the curses drawn to Sukuna's finger"

Yuji:"*glare* If that's the case, then why won't you let us intervene. Do you think we'll get in the way, I mean your injured aren't you?"

(Y/n):"He's right, why can't we help you with this? If you say it's because were kids then we don't want to hear it"

Nanami:"You can't, but not for the reason you think. As you already know, this patchwork cursed spirit uses transfigured people. If you two continue this work, you'll be forced to kill a person yourself"

Yuji and (Y/n) were silent. While yes it's true that they may have to go against their ideals on this mission, Junpei was still their friend, and they wanted to help him.

Nanami:"Please understand however, being a child isn't a sin. I would like to ask you both to merely monitor Yoshino Junpei"

Once Nanami left, Yuji and (Y/n) immediately ran to look for Junpei. They eventually find him in the auditorium of his school, using a jellyfish like shikigami to hold up one of the students as several of them laid on the ground.

(Y/n):"Junpei, What do you think your doing?!"

The glare that Junpei had hardened as he turned around and saw the girl that "deceived" and toyed with him.

Junpei:"Stay out of this demon and Sorcerer"

(Y/n):"Ho—!"

(Y/n) immediately dodged the jellyfishes sharp tentacle before joining Yuji to chase Junpei down the hallways.

Junpei:"Moon Dregs!"

Yuji tried delivering a punch, but was blocked by the shikigami as he was about to land it.

Junpei:"Tell me, were you the one that left that finger at house. Was it funny manipulating my emotions like that"

(Y/n):"What are you talking abo—?!"

Junpei:"Don't act dumb with me!!"

Enraged Junpei commanded his shikigami to wrap its poisonous tentacles around both of them, covering them whole.

Junpei:"People pretend their emotions are everything, but the heart is just the metabolism of the soul. It's all a delusion! And you are one of those people (y/n). Don't restrict me with rules that are based on a delusion, no one has a right to stop anyone from taking what lives they can. So just sleep here, there's something I have to go back and do"

However, Due to them being immune poisons, Yuji was able to grab Junpei from the back of his collar and break out of its hold with (y/n).

Yuji:"Who are you making excuses for? And why do you think (y/n) has something to do with this!?"

Instead of answering Junpei sent a few of it's tentacles upwards which caused Yuji to let him go. But after he did Yuji began sending numerous punches and kicks to the jellyfish, until his final hit made both of them crash through a window and land on a metal ceiling. All while Yuji and (y/n) followed in pursuit.
