Dear (y/n) (l/n) already has troubles as a demon/human hybrid. But having a step-brother that harbors a cursed king, is definitely something she didn't sign up for.
As a way to relax and kinda forget the events that transpired. Yuji, Gojo, and (Y/n) decided to hang out and treat themselves to a stew pot. However (Y/n) couldn't find it in herself to chat amongst them, as she sat in their little tv area.
When she still didn't she got and asked her brother if she could be excused.
Yuji:"Huh? Why?"
(Y/n):"My head is feeling pretty cloudy right now and I need some fresh air"
Yuji:"Oh okay, would you like me to come with you?"
(Y/n):"*smile* No it's fine, I'll be alright on my own"

Walking down the city streets, (Y/n) breathed in the cold fresh air that she was all too familiar with. While also observing the people having fun in a festival nearby. Everyone was filled with enjoyment, kids were playing, adults were talking and joking around, and all the decorations and bright lights looked like a lunar paradise. Everything was bustling with life.
So then, why was still like this? Why couldn't she crack a smile over this? Why couldn't she feel something for this? All these questions...and yet...she didn't want to find the answer to them.
She was soon halted from walking, and looked down to see a little girl. She seemed to be no younger than six years old. Upon closer inspection, (y/n) saw that she had a minor bruise on her left leg, which would partially explain the tears rolling out her eyes.
Random Girl:"M..Ms! C..Can you help me p..please! I...I don't know where I am. It's scary out here in the dark and I really miss my m..mommy!"
(Y/n) stared and stared at the girl for some time, before bending down and deciding to help her. Not because she cared or anything oh no. It was because her crying was beginning to get annoying.
(Y/n):"Hey, if I help you out...do you promise to stop that whimpering when I do?"
Random:"Y...yes...I...I would"
(Y/n):"Alright then"
Smelling her scent, (y/n) was able to find one that was similar and followed it with the girl in hand. She eventually found the girls mother next to a police officer. Her expression lighting up the minute she saw her daughter and the girl ran into her arms.
Random girl:"Mommy! I...I'm so happy that I found you!"
Mom:"I know sweetie I'm happy to see you to, I swear I'm never going to let you out of my sights again"
After picking her daughter up the mother focused her attention onto (y/n).
Mom:"*smile* Thank you so much for reuniting me with my daughter"
(Y/n):"It's nothing"
Mom:"Seriously I owe you one, if there anything you nee—"
The mother glanced away for a mere second when (y/n) had already turned and walked back down desolate sidewalk.
She made it a couple of feet before being stopped again, only this time by the growling of her stomach. It was then when she remembered that she forgot to eat before she left.
Her stomach growled uncontrollably. Only getting shrouded out by the loud barking coming from the alleyway beside her. The aggressive barking soon turned into happy ones, as (y/n) made her way towards the cute little Shiba coming towards her.
