Beam's P.O.V.

Today's Sunday and I just joke up with a major headache. Since yesterday we were together that means today Phana and Kit will spend the whole day with their boyfriends. I took some painkillers before I took a bath. After I got dressed and went to eat at a nearby stall. Once I was done I was feeling much better. It's already two in the afternoon I really overslept. But I have nothing better to do anyway. I was walking around contemplating what to do when I saw Lam sitting in a table outside of a coffee shop across the street. He looked weird so I crossed over to his side. I was right he was looking inside the store with a sad look on his face.

"What are you looking at?" I asked once I was close enough and he seemed startled. I looked inside but I could only see Park talking with a girl.

"Nothing." He said quickly. I looked at him then at Park then at Lam again.

"Please don't tell me you like Park." I said feeling sorry for Lam and he looked down sadly.

"Ah pathetic right? Who in their right mind would let himself fall for that asshole." He said smiling sadly before stealing another glance at Park.

"Well I know someone who's worst than him." I said annoyed and he looked at me suspiciously for a while.

"Do you know something Beam Baramme?" He asked with an eyebrow raised.

"Maybe." I said shrugging. "But we are not talking about me right now. Why are you here? Are you stalking him?" I asked a little bit concerned for Lams sanity. He glared at me.

"Do I look like someone who would do that?" He said and I laughed.

"I don't know what kind of weird things you do Lam. Seems like we don't know each other that well." I said and he sighed. He might be as crazy as his friend who got beat up just to catch my attention.

"Park was the one who invited me. Then he went to order and got distracted with her." He said looking over at them with despise.

"Out of all the people in this world and you had to fall for Park. Good job Lam." I said sarcastically and he rolled his eyes at me.

"What about you and Forth huh?" He said smirking and I rolled my eyes.

"Oh please you and I know better than that." I said looking at him straight in the eye and he seemed to understand but I still changed the topic.

"How long have you been waiting?" I asked Lam.

"It's been like fifteen minutes already." He said sadly and I nodded.

"Come on let's go somewhere else. You don't have to stay here and watch him ok?" I said standing up and he looked troubled.

"But what if he comes back?" He asked and I looked at him.

"Lam come on don't do this to yourself. Watching him flirt with someone else must be killing you. I can help you try to court him but for now you can't do this to yourself let's go." I said and he nodded standing up.

"Why are you being nice to me if you know everything? Also what do you know? And how?" He said after we were walking for a while and I looked at him contemplating if I should trust him. But he was the only one who said this was a bad idea so I guess I can.

"I consider you a friend that's why I'm helping you besides this is nothing. About your asshole friend I was there the day you were talking about the bet. I was in the other booth waiting for Phana and Kit when I heard you guys. So I know everything." I said and he nodded thoughtfully.

"So you know I was against it good. But then why are you going on with it? Why not expose him from the start?" He asked confused.

"I'm just playing his game. I know we don't know each other that well but I considered him a friend. Then he's just casually betting he can hurt me? Well I decided if he's trying to hurt me then I would do the same. An eye for an eye as they say. In the end I want him to fall for me and be the one who cries. If he didn't care then why should I?" I said and he nodded.
