Beam's P.O.V.

I woke up from my nap feeling rested. I was basically sleeping on top of Forth by now but he didn't seem to mind since he was still snoring. I got up looking reaching for my phone. It was now seven damn we've been asleep a couple of hours. I answered a few text walking out of our room. I wasn't in the mood for cooking besides we were both still learning so most of it wasn't very good. Lam definitely needs to teach me better. So I just called for a pizza. When it arrived I decided to wake Forth. I tried to shake him gently but that was useless.

"Forth wake up!" I said loudly while shaking him. This time he woke up.

"What a nice way to wake up. First this morning with you cursing and now yelling. You should be grateful I love you." Said Forth sitting down on the bed.

"You are a heavy sleeper what do you want me to do throw water on you?" I said jokingly but it seemed like a good idea. I could get one of those spray bottles it should work.

"Don't even think about it! I can see it in your face you think is a good idea. I dare you to do it." Said Forth seriously and I looked at him with an eyebrow raised.

"Did you just dare me." I replied and he groaned throwing himself back on the bed.

"Come on Beam! Have mercy on this poor guy." He whined and I laughed.

"I'll think about it." I said but I was definitely going to do it now he let out a sighed. He knows he fucked up. "You are the one who wanted to live with me I bet you are regretting that now." I said laughing.

"I would never! Even though you're childish some times there's no one else I'd want." He said and I smiled.

"You're so cheesy!" I said but leaned in for a kiss anyway he just winked at me when I pulled back.

"Why did you wake me though?" He asked.

"Oh right I bought pizza let's eat. Also you said you had to finish some homework so I was going to wake you anyway." I said standing up from the bed.

"Oh right well let's eat first." He said doing the same.

We walked to the kitchen to eat. We finished quickly since we were both hungry. Forth went to grab his computer and some papers to do his assignment. I grabbed my books and some papers too.

"You have to study too?" Asked Forth and I nodded.

"Yeah I have a paper due tomorrow that I need to finish." I said and he nodded.

"I wanted to spend time with you." He pouted.

"You need to study too." I said about to walk away to our room.

"Yeah but I wanted you to stay here with me you know keep me company. I thought about it for a second before walking to the living room.

"Fine let's set up everything here." I said putting my stuff on one side of the coffee table before sitting down on the floor. Forth looked at me curiously. "I get half of the coffee table you get the other half. That way we can be close while we both study." I said and he quickly moved his laptop to the coffee table before sitting opposite me.

"Beam you are a genius." He said and I rolled my eyes.

"Whatever start studying." I said focusing on my work.

We were like that for a while both silently working on our stuff. Every once in a while I would catch Forth looking at me but that's about it. Everything was fine until I got stuck on a question. It was the last one and I couldn't figure it for the life of me. I let out a groan dropping my head on my book. I heard Forth laugh.

"I don't understand anything!" I whined.

"Take a break it won't do you any good stressing over." He said and I glared at him.

"I can't I need to finish this." I said and he took my book away.

"Hey!" I said mad.

"I'll give it to you after you relax a little. Why don't you call Phana? He may know the answer." He said and I huffed mad.

"I don't call him about homework anymore." I said sadly. I remember our first year of university. We would do every assignment together and helped each other. It was a great help and we could teach each other what we didn't understand.

"You are trying to mend your relationship right? That's a good way to start. It's coming from me and I'm not a fan of Phana anymore." He said and I nodded thinking about it. I could at least try? If he doesn't pick up then I won't bother him anymore.

"Fine pass me my phone it's behind you on the couch." I said and he smiled doing as told. I dialed Pha's number not really knowing if he was going to pick up. I was about to hang up when he did.

-Beam? Are you alright?- asked Phana concerned and I chuckled.

-I'm alright, are you busy? I kinda need help with the last question of tomorrow's assignment.- I said rather awkwardly.

-I can send it to you now I'm already done. I will add some notes so you can understand but I can explain it to you tomorrow in more detail if you need.- he answered.

-Really? Thank you! That would be great. I've been stuck on it for a while.- I said feeling happy.

-You can call me anytime you need help you know I don't mind. We could start our study groups again if you like.- he said and I felt relieved for a second.

-Will you be able to make time? I don't want to be a bother.- I said and I heard him sigh.

-You are not a bother Beam. We should have never stopped our study groups I guess I got too caught in my relationship it's not your fault. I'm sure Kit will be thrilled to join us too. I've missed you, you know. I just I don't know we need to adjust to our new lives but I for sure want you in mine. It's hurts to know that I pushed you away even if I didn't mean to. I never want us to be strangers. You and Kit are like family to me.- he said and it was like a weight have been lifted off my shoulder.

-thank you Pha I really needed to hear that. You guys are like family to me too and of course I have missed you two a lot. We will talk tomorrow all right?- I said.

-Sure I'll send you the answers soon. If you need anything else don't hesitate to ask.- Said Phana.

-ok thank you.- I said before hanging up. I looked towards Forth who had a smug look on his face.

"I was right." He said cockily.

"You were! Thank you!" I said coming over to his side and attacked him with a hug.

"You're welcome you know I like to see you happy." He said. A few minutes later my phone beeped and I was able to finish my assignment. Today was definitely a great day.
