It is said that you have to collect the three Deathly Hallows:The Elder Wand, The Philosopher's Stone and The Cloak of Invisibility, to be able to control Death. That is, however, incorrect.

Fate―or better known as Lady Magic(A/N:At least in this story)―picks who's worthy to be the Masters or Mistresses of her children. All of her children, Death, Life, Time, Mischief and Chaos. She picks who is worthy of that title. Not some silly myth like the 'Deathly Hallows' as such.

Of course Fate was upset that her son gave away his cloak and made a wand for the Pervelle brothers. But Life was upset that he stole the stone that gives people life. It took forever for Mors to find a way to make up his mistake to his brother.

When he took the second brother after his death, he took the stone and gave it to Nicholas Flamel. A person Vita favored. Though Flamel was not Vita's master did not mean a thing to Vita. Fate allowed this friendship. It was one of the only times her children could befriend someone that wasn't their master/mistress.

It was normal for Lady Magic's children to have masters/mistresses but not for Lady Magic herself. On the day Merlin Emrys was born, she had gifted him the most powerful magic. Lady Magic as Fate herself knew he would never use it for dark and evil things, that was why she had granted him Master of Fate, or rather Lady Magic.

His descendants were powerful, having a bit of Lady Magic's gifts but they were very little. Some people didn't even acknowledge that they had these gifts and questioned how their relatives had it. The Ministry started to fear Merlin's descendants and killed them all off. All but the ones with the Potter name. Somewhere along the Emrys line they married into the Potter line. Yes, even though they married along other lines, they were all killed off as well.

Lady Magic was enraged. No wonder the Ministry was so corrupt in Magical Britain. She favored Magical Britain. She tried giving her children Masters in other magical countries but they all died from the power. She wondered how the beings in Magical Britain were able to hold such power and not die when they realized they had it like the other magical countries.

From then on, Fate had her children have Masters from Magical Britain but not long enough for them to be immortal nor could her children allow it. She only did every so often. Her children hadn't had Masters in years till the Prewett twins were born. They became the Masters of Mischief and Chaos.

When they died, they had the option of immortality but denied. They wanted to move along to the land of the dead, where the worthy Masters and Mistresses were at. At the age of three, their heirs became the Masters of Mischief and Chaos. That same year, three other children became Masters/Mistresses of her children.

It took a Millennium for all her children to have Masters/Mistresses that were worthy and all born in the same time frame. They were going to be powerful children if they became allies in the future. . . But if Fate gets her way, they would be.

She even gifted them a bit of her magic and allowed her children to give them powers if they wished. They would be able to stop anything. Especially the real Dark Lord hiding under the Light. Especially since they were all born under a prophecy said by her old Master himself, even if he wasn't a seer. She even let give a warning to the people he told, The Goblins. But if she gets her way, Death and Time's Mistresses wouldn't hear it till they were at the right age Tempus and Mors said.
