Chapter 25: l

At the Hospital
-Siyeon POV-
We walk along the corridor and stop infront of a room. Heejin knock the door and we entered it.

"Papa I'm back!!!" Heejin shouted cutely and hug her dad. I just watch them from far away and smile. Her personality are alot more different than the time she try to kill me.

"I miss you my sweetheart. Uh, who's this Heejin?" The middle age man ask curiously.

"I'm Lee Siyeon, Heejin's boss. Nice to meet you uncle". I smile sweetly and bow. The uncle sit and bow a bit.

"Ah Heejin have a job now~ Thanks for taking her as your colleagues, I hope she's a hard-working girl". The old man smile while holding his daughter hand.

"Yes she's a good girl! Don't worry! By the way uncle, may I ask what happened to you? Heejin never tell me about her family".

"Ah is that so? I had a brain tumor for a long time and I don't realize it. Now the tumor are making me half paralyzed because it squishing some of my nerves".

"And what the doctor say?"

"If I don't get the surgery as soon as possible the tumor will becoming bigger and bigger. I might die". The man lower his head, looking at the floor.

"So why don't you get the surgery?"

"Are you dumb? We're not rich like you! People like you won't understand!" Heejin yell. Tears falling down to her cheek.

"Yeah I know that, and that's why I already pay for the surgery. So when are you going to run the surgery?"

"What??!!" Both of them shock.

"Mr. Lee, this is too much. We just meet and you decided to pay for a stranger treatment?"

"Nope you're not stranger, you're my coworker's father". Both of them speechless especially Heejin. Yeah I just take her as my worker now.

"So I hope you the best for the surgery. I'll get going now". I bow and get out of the room.

The corridor seem really quiet and peaceful when suddenly someone grab my arm. I automatically pull my hand so no one could touch my skin. I'm wearing a suit and gloves but it sometimes still not enough for me.

I look at the girl, it's Heejin.
"Oh come on girl! You could die! Don't do that!"

"Stop joking around, grabbing your arm won't kill me". Yeah won't kill you...

"What do you want kiddo".

"Why did you do that?"

"What?"

"I almost kill you, so why did you help me?"

"I told you... The bullet don't hit even a single of my hair. I do it just for fun".

"Don't lie! Tell me!" Heejin tip toe to get nearer to my face. Ah~ she so small like SuA.

"Look girl, crime isn't the only solution to get quick money. The guy won't take responsibility when you get arrested. Don't you ashamed of yourself doing something dirty to get money to pay for your dad's bills? So stop. Work with me". I pat her head and leave.

I get into my car and drive to SuA's office. We promise to have lunch together but seems like SuA not done yet. So I stay in my car awhile and start thinking. Am I a little cold to Heejin? Am I doing the right thing? Ah again... I help a human. Ding! A notification bring me back to world.
