The sorting

It was starting to get dark outside so I thought that dinner would be starting in a bit.

 I went inside and headed to the great hall. Outside of the great hall I spotted Dumbledore. Thank god!!!!! I did NOT want to go in there alone there was probably thousands of people inside. I could hear muffled voices outside of the great hall. Was I late!?

"Don't worry Ella you are just in time"

What the hell did Dumbledore just read my mind! 

"Shall we go inside?"

I nodded my head and with that the great hall doors opened with a loud-ish noise. Everyone started to quiet down and turn their heads as I was walking in with Dumbledore. I'm pretty sure I looked embarrassed, well because I WAS!

The great hall was beautiful. There was four super long tables at each table there were lots of students wearing black robes with either green, red, yellow, or blue. I was basically the only one wearing regular clothes... I looked up to avoid any eye contact when I saw stars on the ceiling!!! Like how cool is that!! In the front of the great hall was a slightly shorter table I'm pretty sure it was the professors table. In front of the professors table was a chair. 

I feel bad for whoever has to sit in that chair embarrassingggg! What happened next I did not expect. Dumbledore had the AUDACITY to put THAT chair in THAT spot for ME!!!! no no no no no no. 

"Please sit in the chair and professor McGonagall will place the sorting hat on your head to determine your house."

A lady with a velvet green robe who im pretty sure was McGonagall gestured me to sit in a chair. At this point all eyes were on me. McGonagall then placed what I was pretty sure was a hat on my head. Then the weirdest think happened the hat started moving and talking!! Could the Wizarding world get any weirder? 

"Your difficult very difficult...hm?" The hat sounded very wise. " thank you. Your cunning, and a nice thirst to prove yourself. It's all here in your head. Let it be...." I'm pretty sure the hat passed for dramatic effect. "SLYTHERIN!" The hat was taken off of my head and what I'm pretty sure what was Slytherin house was cheering. 

I saw some white blonde hair and I thought back to earlier at Diagon Alley. I headed to the table taking a glance over my shoulder to see Dumbledores reaction but he was....emotionless. That is weird.

I took a seat at the table next to two girls one had brown hair and one had blonde. 

"Hi im Daphne Greengrass and this is my sister Astoria"

"Hi im Ella nice to meet y'all."

 Before we could talk more this lady dressed head to toe in pink gave a weird speech. It was awkward when she said 'it is great to see all your bright happy faces smiling up at me' no one wa smiling.

Then Dumbledore said "Let the feast begin". Plates of food appeared before my eyes I was AMAZED once again!! 

I couldn't help but feel the strange feeling of someone staring at me. When everyone was done eating their food some people called 'Prefects' led us to the Slytherin common room. We were told all of our stuff was brought to our dorms. I found out I was sharing a dorm with Daphne and someone named pansy.

After I got situated I fell into a deep sleep.

Im sorry I took so long to post. I tried to make this chapter as long as possible! TYSM for 100 reads so far I didn't think this story would be noticed. Honestly I thought of this story while taking a shower pretty weird. Now that's how all my ideas come its a weird process I know. THANK YOU FOR READING!!!! PLEASE VOTE!!!!!
