Mariela's POV

"Jamal! " I shout. He chuckles and looks at me.
"What? "
"Don't fucking 'what' me. Go get me another one. " I say referring to my drink that he spilled while he was fucking around.
"I didn't even do it. " He tries to deny.
"Yes you did. Go get me another one. "
"You're the dumb bitch who put it there. " He defends. I look at him.
"What'd you say? "
"I said I'm not the dumb b-" I interrupt him.
"Cause going to give you 3 seconds to fix what the fuck you just said. "
"I said I'm not the dumb bitch who put it there. " I pick up the spoon from his food.
"Open your mouth. " I say.
"What? No. " He says. I grab his jaw.
"You wanna open your mouth to call me a dumb bitch but you don't wanna open your mouth for me? Open your fucking mouth pendejo. "I pull his mouth open and stick the spoon in his mouth. He right away starts gagging. Aniyah, Dax, and Dean start laughing.
"Don't call me a bitch again! " I yell at him.
"What the fuck Mariela." He starts coughing and spitting in the grass.
"Don't fucking call me a bitch again pendejo now go get me another drink. " I say. He stands from the grass and runs across the street.
"Damn, you really put him in his place. "Dax says.
"She didn't even do anything. She shoulda lit his ass on fire for all the shit he did to her. " Aniyah says.
"You're one to talk. " Dean mutters.
"What the fuck did you just say? "
"Both of you just shut up I'm not trying to hear this right now. "
"Whatever."

"Mom said that Tia Maria made it through so we don't have to go. They still don't know how long she had but she doesn't want us to come until she goes. " Javi says. I nod and he leaves. My phone starts ringing.
"Hello."
"FaceTime me. " I press the face time button on the call and her face pops up.
"Girl, I came home and seen Jamal making out with another girl. "
"Like right now. " I say.
"Yes, I can see him from my window. "
"You better show me Melissa. " I say. She  flips her camera and she angles it so I can see him. Sure enough that fucker is making out with some blonde.
"I'm gonna hang up and your going to record and send it to me. That pendejo thinks he can play me again. The day after we got back together. I can play too. He won't be the only one with side hoes. " Melissa laughs.
"That's petty. " She says.
"I don't care. I realize it's not good for me to do that but at this point I couldn't care less. " I hang up. I FaceTime Camden.
"Hey." He says. It looks like he's laying in his bed.
"Wanna hang out. I'm bored. " I scratch the corner of my eye.
"What do you wanna do? " He asks. I shrug.
"I don't care. "He sighs.
" Ok. I'm gonna come get you. I'll be there in 20."
"Ok bye. " We hang up and I get some shoes on.
"I'm leaving! " I yell.
"Ok."

I literally didn't get ready. My hair is in a messy ponytail, I'm wearing sweatpants and a tank top, and I'm wearing some nike slides. I get into Camden's car and he drives off.
"Where are we going? " Camden asks.
"I need to go to Walmart. "I say.
" What for? "He asks.
" My brother and his friends were playing around and broke a mirror. So now I have to go and find one that looks somewhat similar."I sigh. Sitting back in the seat.
"Why do you have to get it? " He asks.
"I'm not paying for it. I stole my brothers wallet. But I'm going to get it because I know that they won't and then all of us will get in trouble for it. "
"Want McDonald's.? "
"Yes."Just then, my phone starts ringing. Javi is face timing me.
" Bueno. "(Hello.)
"Did you take my wallet? "
"No. Why?" I say.
"I can't find it. I gotta go get lupe. "
"Carlos was there. He probably took it. " I say. I feel bad for blaming him but he's always taking everyone's stuff.
"Yea. Ok. Bye. " He hangs up.
"Liar." Camden says. I look over at him driving.
"What he doesn't know won't hurt him. Besides. It's always fun spending other people's money. " He pulls into McDonald's. We go through the drives theough. He orders, pays and get our food. He parks in the McDonalds parking lot and I hand him his food.
"So what happened? " He asks.
"What do you mean. " I ask eating a fry.
"You said you don't wanna see me anymore but you call me today and wanna hang out. "
"I was bored and I didn't wanna hang out with my annoying friends. "
"Wow that hurts. " He says taking a bite of his big Mac.
"It's not an insult. Obviously you were bored too. Otherwise you wouldn't have jumped at the opportunity. " I say. I eat a chicken nugget and look over at him.
"Nah, I was gonna get on my PS5. "He says with a smile. I snort.
" Of course you play video games. "I murmured.
" And that's a bad thing? "He asks.
" No. I do have a question though. "I say.
"What? "
"If we were a thing, will you pay attention to me or play your PS5 all day? "I ask smiling.
" I'd give you attention but I'd still play on the PS. I can multitask. "
"You can multitask? Are you sure you could juggle me and a PS5? I'm pretty needy. " I say. He laughs.
"I doubt you could be as needy as Marley. " He say but I shrug.
"You don't know that. I could be more needy. " I take a drink of my soda.
"I'm needy too. " He speaks up turning to look at me.
"Really? " I raise an eyebrow.
"Yea." He leans over and pulls me jnto a kiss. I pull back after a few seconds.
"That's needy? " I ask.
"No. That was just me wanting to kiss you. "
"Ok."
"That's it? 'Ok. '" He says. I nod.
"Yep." I smirk as I grab his big Mac and take a bite of it.
"That was mine. " He says.
"I just wanted a bite. Chill. You sound like my siblings. "
"You eat your siblings food? "
"I eat everyone's food. I just eat a lot of food in general. It's rare when I'm not eating." I say.
"Always eating. I'm gonna have to keep snacks in the car. " He snort. I chuckle.
"Now that's what I like. "
