CALUM'S POV
Alex turns away and hides her face from me. She said no. My heart broke into a million pieces. I really thought she was into me. She was different from all the girls and all I want is her. I thought she felt the same way about me but, the again, girls are confusing.
"Ask me why I said no," Alex mumbles and starts to face me.
"Why did you say no?" I ask, waiting for her answer.
She breathes in and breathes out.
"I said no because I think it's stupid for the guy to ask the girl. I want our story to be different. Calum, will you go out with me?" She says and starts to smile like a goof.
My heart races as I grab her hand and kiss her.
ALISON'S POV
I sob into Luke's pillow and ignore his voice from the other side of the wooden door. I search for my phone and sit up right and google who Katerina is.
She was a model from Australia and has been dating Luke for 7 months the website site tells me. She had blonde hair and blue eyes.
"Alison just please... Open the door," Luke whispers.
I hesitate and get off the bed. I turn the door knob slowly and see Luke with bloodshot eyes. I turn away and crawl back on the bed and hug my knees as he takes a seat at the edge of the bed and closes the door. He lets out a breath and tries to grab my hand. I scoot farther away.
"Katerina isn't my girlfriend," Like states.
I look at him in the eyes and say, "Bullcheese."
"I'm serious. Management wants me to date her for more publicity but, now that I'm actually dating you, I'm going to call management and tell them to call Katerina and tell her we can stop pretending." Luke states.
"Call them then, right now, put them on speaker. I want to hear." I tell him and cross my arms.
He says fine and he grabs my hand. I let him hold it and he squeezes tight. He smiles and I give him a weak smile.
Because deep down, I somehow believe him.
