You think you know life, Until you almost die. I've had countless near death experiences being as every Gaisshen clan wants my head roasting above a flame. I'm a dangerous species. I'm a hybrid. The hybrid, every clan is talking about. They don't like me because they've never seen my kind before. They don't understand me. Gaisshens are only supposed to have one special gift. I have several. Every one to be exact. The leader of two different clans conceived me. Every clan is supposed to mate within their own but my parents weren't the obedient type. Its really shitty having a human girlfriend knowing one day she'll no longer exist. Its really shitty having to live through another new year at another new college. But I have to blend in.

I reached for the knob and the water slowed before completely stopping. Instead of grabbing my towel I sat down pulling my knees towards my bare chest. I sighed, waiting for the water to evaporate from my skin.

I don't want to be in this shit town, in this shit country. I have toured every country in the world and this one doesn't make one of my top ten favorites.

I stretched my arms in the direction of the shelf that held my body wash and shampoo. I used it too pull myself up. I opened the shower door and re-entered my room. I immediately averted my gaze to my walk in closet. I dragged myself to the closet and let my hand search for the light switch attached to the wall. As light filled the room my eyes darted searching for a specific shirt. I grabbed a grey and white flannel button shirt instead. I pulled a white cami over my head and threw my damp hair out of the way, preventing it from getting stuck in my flannel shirt. I left it unbuttoned, I checked my 24k white gold watch.

10:07. I'm excited to get bitched at for being late. Maybe I should skip a day. I really need the A.

I shrugged before pulling on denim shorts. I kept my balance while grabbing at my black timbs sitting on the floor. I shoved my feet into them and left them untied. I grabbed my bag and slowly head out the door towards my pink dodge ram.
