I was sitting in a green lawn chair by the square in ground pool in my brothers back yard. Beer in hand I was expressing my debate on homophobia and my brother laughed at every word I said.

" I just think that if you don't like gay marriage you shouldn't marry a gay person" I chuckled.

My brother nodded trying to catch his breath from laughing so hard.

"You're right baby sister." He assured me. "The world is filled with fucking morons." He winked. "How is Macy by the way?" He asked. "Is she still with the purple hair?" He smiled.

" You know damn well she is. " I grinned at the thought of her. Just then the bell rang and my brother jumped up from his chair and disappeared in the house.

It was perfect outside. The faint wind was comforting. The air was warm and fresh, and it smelled like lilacs. I closed my eyes to feel the moment. I breathed in slowly filling my lungs with crisp air. I smiled at the thought of swimming. The suns rays were showering the earth with heat. Birds nearby chirped in harmony, adding to the peace. It must have been around 8pm. The sun wasn't set yet and the sky light up a beautiful mixture of purple and orange.

"SHE ISNT FUCKING HERE. JERMI IS IN AUSTRALIA WITH HER GIRLFRIEND." I heard my brother scream.

Panicked, I jumped up from my chair ready to fight. I pulled the six inch knife from my boot and stood my ground, waiting for my cue.

"GET THE FUCK OUT" My brother yelled once again.

My heart raced miles and my breath ran laps, as I slowly headed inside. My brother, Arius shooed at me and I put one finger to my lips. Three men dressed in white suits were racing down the hallway. I stood close by. Fuck it. I snuck up behind the last man, grabbing is hair and pulling his head backward, I put my blade to his neck.

"You better be quiet." I whispered in his ear.

He continued walking behind his two partners, with my knife to him, not saying a word. They turned into Arius' room and before we could enter I slammed the door shut.

"You open that door, you're gonna need a few bucks for the dry cleaners." I yelled through the closed door.

I heard shuffling from the other side, and what sounded like bickering.

"Which clan are you guys from?" I yelled once more.

No answer. I sniffed the air to get a sense of what type of Gaisshen they were.

"Funny. They sent fragile weak little humans after me." I threw my head back and laughed. "Not exactly." I heard from behind me.

I whirled around and used the man I was threatening, as a sheild.

I sniffed the air again. "Bloody Shape shifters." I growled. The lady that stood before me was disgusting. Although she looked gorgeous I could see her true face. She wore pale skin with dark black hair pulled back in a ponytail. Her ruby red eyes were glass like and enhanced her cheek bones. Her thick red colored lips were thirsty and wide spread. She wore a tan leathered jacket and dark jeans.

"You got me." She raised her hands in the air and smirked.

"What the fuck do you want from me than?" I asked.

"The coin." She snarled.

"I've no idea what you're talking about." I said tilting my head to the side, playing dumb.

"Oh, you don't?" She asked still smirking, she started towards me and I slit the mans throat and pushed him toward her. She stepped back and let the man fall to the floor.

"Why don't you calm down?" She offered running at me. I held my knife up ready to fight. She put her hand to my face and gently soothed my check.

Her soft hands sending an electric shock to my skin, she felt amazing. Just then she was the most beautiful creature I had ever seen.
