Monarch helicopters set for Infant Island were all ready to fly, Ilene, Ling, Madison and also with them, Sam Coleman and other Monarch operatives, including Bernie Hayes
The helicopters soon took off and headed out to the Pacific, hoping to find the long lost Infant Island.
Sam: didn't know Mothra had an island to call home, hope it's not like Skull Island with the bloodthirsty Skullcrawlers, even with Kong around it's still extremely dangerous.
Ilene: it's not Sam, according to my mother's notes, the island is peaceful, rich with beautiful plant and animal life and the natives are calm.
Sam: good to know
Bernie: y'know, Infant Island sounds like an island for babies?
Everyone just laughed
Ilene: *giggles* No, Bernie. That's ridiculous.
The Monarch operatives set up the ORCA 2.0, an upgraded ORCA designed to not just render Titans docile but help communicate with them as well at large distances. With it they'll speak to Mothra should she hatch while their away.
Ilene: *looking through photos of infant island* I wonder how much has changed since 61, we'll find out soon
Ling: I'm curious to why nobody's been on the island since, not even our mother and aunt, but I think we'll find out soon enough.
Madison: Dr Chen? You and your sister seem to have a history regarding Mothra, why's that?
Ilene: If I tell you, you wouldn't believe me
Madison: I will! Come on, tell me
Before Ilene could speak, the choppers pilot spoke
Pilot: approaching Infant Island!
Ilene and Ling looked out the helicopters windows, excited but what they saw completely drained all the excitement and enthusiasm from their faces.
Bernie: Bitch whaaaaat..?
