Chantelle POV:
I stared at myself in the mirror and set down the brush. 'Is this what my life has come to?' I questioned myself. I got up and made my way to the front door to meet my mum and Kelani. I held on to my sisters' hand like when I was a child, I'm basically still a child. She squeezed it slightly and gave me a soft smile.

*Time skip to chapel*

When we got there my other sister Reyna (who was a bridesmaid) greeted us with a small wave. Even though it was a small gesture it said many things. I put on the vail and grabbed the bouquet from the vanity and walked down the isle with my mother. I plastered on a fake smile as my mother gave me to Yangyang. The Priest began to speak but I just tuned him out, watching his mouth move. Yangyang who had already said his vows and waiting of me to do the same.

" W-with this candle," I said trying to light the candle, "With this candle," I said getting frustrated, "This candle," I stated helplessly, yet the candle didn't light.

I turn around to see my sister with her lip in between her teeth, while my mother avoided eye contact with me. Yangyang's parents looked aggravated with me, the priest cleared his throat gaining my attention. I looked down and realized that the candle had been lit.

"Right. With this candle, haha," I said confidence oozing from my words, my chuckle made the flame go out, and it made me extremely embarrassed.

"Continue," the now angry priest growled.

Third person POV:
Then the door bell rang. "Get the door, Lucas," the tight lipped man, whom was going to be a future father in-law ordered his butler.

The obviously bored man got up went to the door, grabbing a paper from, " A lady (my ladyyyyy~) Elizabeth Kim (random name, random person) is here ,sir," with that being said Lucas turned away and walked back to his place.

The woman slipped in, her loud heels clicking against the hard wood floor. "I haven't a head from dates, apparently I'm a day early for the ceremony," she snobbish stated checking her well manicured nails.

"Is she from your side of the family," the man asked the blank faced woman next to him.

" I don't recall, Lucas a seat for lady Kim," She said snapping her fingers at the young man. Within seconds there was a chair being placed behind the woman.

Kelani POV:
What.The.Actual.Fuck just happened.
You know what I don't wanna know,

   Chantelle POV:
The brown eyed woman made a gesture to carry on and that is exactly what we did.

"Let's try it again, shall we, Mistress Demarco" the Priest drawled out.

"Yes,yes, sir,certainly,right" I said all too quickly.

With the now lit candle I recited, "With this, this."

"Hand"

"Yes thank you, With this hand," Yangyang lightly grasped my hand and we walked closer to the burning candle. "I will, ow!" I said crashing into the table.

"THREE STEPS THREE CAN YOU NOT COUNT GIRL," the old man yelled at me.

"I-I'm sorry, I- I must leave now I have brought shame to my family," I said running out of the chapel.

Hot tears fell from my eyes, I heard the faint yells of Yangyang, my mother, and Kelani calling me back. I can't face them now, not yet, I'm trying to show my family how much they mean to me. But I keep failing.
