Reyna Pov:
*Flashback to age 4*
"I'M GONNA GET YOU NANA," I heard Mark, my best friend, yell as he chased after me.
I giggled and ran away screeching like a mad woman, I was sad this would be the last time I played with Mark in a while. Mommy said we would go away for a really long time. Willa is hanging out with her friends one last time. Alliyah and Liza didn't leave their room all day. Kelani was excited to meet new people and tried to cheer up the rest. Evie was making flower crowns with Chantelle. Selene was playing with the flowers with Mamá. Mommy was talking to Mark's mum.
"GOT YOU," Mark said tackling me onto the ground, I yelped in Suprise.
"No fairrrrrrrrrr," I whined, pushing Mark away from me, " I have the pinchy shoes on."
Mark gave me a wide toothy grin, "Then take them off! I'll even do it for you! Sit down." (*Cough simp cough*)
I smiled and sat on the grass and planted my feet infront of me, I Felt like Cinderella but ya know, younger. Mark took off my shoes and brought them to my mum and ran back to me. He hoisted me up and I started chasing after him. I'm gonna miss him a lot.
*Time skip to when they have to leave for the airport*
"NO NO I DON'T WANNA GO," I yelled as my Mamá tried to get me to let go of Mark's hand.
"Reyna. Come on we have to go now, your mommy and sisters are waiting for us," she said, " I'm sorry about her."
" It's fine they're really gonna miss each other," Mark's mum said her eyes softening at the sight of her son and his best friend sobbing in each other's arms.
" I don't wanna go," I mumbled through my tears.
" I know bebé, I know but we have to go this is a big opportunity for me and your mommy," she said bending down to my height and picking me up.
I laided my head on her shoulder waving weakly at Mark, this is the last time in a long time I would see him. " Wait I need to give him something Mamá, can I do it really quick I promise," I begged my mom. She sighed, putting me down
"Do it fast."
I ran towards Mark and pulled out half of the necklace I had, " keep this at all times okay? Look I have the Moon," (it's Sun and moon necklaces kinda like the ones in Twitches). He smiled at me with tears in his eyes, as he out the necklace in his pocket. I smiled and ran back to my mom opening sadly and we walked back to the Van. I turned back to Mark and smiled softly at him. I'll see you later.
*Flash forward to when they're in highschool*
Mark Pov:
I don't understand why we moved to Korea we were perfectly fine in Canada. I took the necklace out from under my shirt and kissed it lightly.
" Hey Rey, I'm starting school today, wish me luck, I love you," I mumbled to it, putting it back under my school shirt.
*Time skip to when Mark gets to the outside of the school*
I looked up at the three story school and sighed "Converse high, what a shit hole, Am I right" someone behind me said.
" I- I Guess so," I said narrowing my eyes at the group of boys and the girl behind me.
" Right. I'm Haechan, this one who looks scary as fuck but is actually a puppy is Jeno, this Small child right here is Jisung, this equally small child is Chenle, this one with the broad ass shoulders is Renjun, and the ones who look like they would fuck right now on the spot are Jaemin and Chantelle," Haechan introduced each person.
Chantelle looked really familiar for some reason but I couldn't put my finger on where I knew her from. " Um so I'm Mark the New guy from Canada," I awkwardly introduced myself.
"Oh Canada," Haechan said nodding his head.
" Baby remember when you used to live in Canada and you were all aloneeee and I didn't know you existed yeeetttt," Jaemin said clinging onto Chantelle's arm. She chuckled and nodded.
" Wait dude I think I know you," Chantelle told me, " You were Rey's best friend, The name Reyna Demarco ring a bell?"
I perked up at the name, " Yeah actually it does," I said trying to sound like I really didn't care, but on the inside I was dying to see her again.
" Well yeah this is gonna be a nice reunion," she mumbled, one armed linked with mine while her others was linked with Jaemin's. I felt the other side be taken by Haechan as we walked more into the hell disgused as a learning facility.
This is gonna be one wild ride
